Most things in North America that are inflatable are done so via a standard Schrader valve, including the expansion tank on my boiler. And that’s exactly what I wanted this product for. My poor expansion tank, which slowly leaks out, needs to be pumped up a few times each year (yes I’m going to replace it) The issue with my expansion tank is it was never installed with periodically pumping up in mind. That’s where the convenience of this air hose comes in as I can now easily attach the hose. Another bonus is I can lock the hose onto the valve thus freeing up my hand. I noticed no leaks while pumping up the tank, nor did the locking air chuck come loose. When this product arrived I looked it over for flaws, of which I found none. A braided hose which is rated to 300 psi is more capacity than I will ever need. I like it so much that I might pick up a second one for my air compressor.

This approximately 1/4 inch clip on air filler line is a perfect replacement for the broken one on my 12v tire filling compressor. The fitting are well formed and the clip fully opens so the centered vale pushing shaft is locked in and it seals around the valve. Hate it when a 12v tire compressor is tossed due to a cheapo filler line breaking off. This is an upgrade to any emergency tire compressor and will be the last one needed not likely to break like the originals supplied with low cost 12v emergency tire inflation compressor equipment.

I tried to attach it to my car tire. This is the same tire I have used other locking chucks very successfully so I know it's not the stem on my tire. This one doesn't lock on well at all. With much jiggling, I can get it to stop leaking for a moment, and then I touch the hose and it starts leaking air again. Hard pass.

My F150 loses air in its tires and this is an easier way to fill the tires. Extends the length of my hose and the adapter is simply a push on thing that requires one hand. The traditional adapter is bent at a 90 degree angle and is a bit harder to engage. The end of this hose is just a Schrader valve and installs easily. Requires a bit of a push to seal against the valve, then it locks in plce.

This is the tire inflation hose I didn't know I needed. I don't know if you've ever experienced some of those hoses that come with portable inflators that you have to screw on the tire stem. Who can deal with that? As you are unscrewing them all they do is let out a ton of air. The clamp down type are better, but this hose is a great replacement for any of your inflators. It is flexible at all temps but what makes it really great, is you simply squeeze the lever, put it on your tire valve stem and let go of the lever. It clamps on securely to inflate your tire. Then, when you want to remove it, press the lever again and pull it off. It is a quick, easy motion. Highly recommended.

I got this in the hopes that I could replace the leaking hose on my portable tire inflator. But it does not fit. However, this is very nicely constructed, and should last years.
