This was a very good buy. I am happy with my purchase. It was definitely worth the money. The only complaint that I have is some of the metal was bent so it is a struggle. When sliding the drawers in and out. There is more than enough storage space to be utilized. It was easier than I thought to assemble but it did take over 2 hours to complete. The media could not be loaded. We bought this island for our new old house—we are planning on renovating the kitchen in the next year so didn’t want to spend much but needed some extra space for seating, storage and kitchen prep. This was a good buy and we are happy with it as a temporary solution! Some cons: It took my husband like 4-5 hours to put together. The drawers are a little flimsy and I had to reinforce with superglue. Whatever coating they have on the surface stains really easily from kids markers - super weird. The shelf at the end is just silly - I ended up taking it out after I made the video because it was bothering me. Now the holes bother me instead 😂 But all in all it’s provided a lot of great storage and is nice and sturdy. Bonus: the color is a dusty light blue instead of mental illness gray! ... show more

I ordered this not knowing if I could fit my stand mixer in it. All the photos of this island do not show if there is a center divider with a shelf on either side or if the shelf went all the way across. As you can see, I was pleasantly surprised to discover there is a center divider with a shelf on either side. I am able to leave the shelf out on one side so the mixer fits. I actually put the shelf under it to reinforce the floor. It comes in two boxes. One weighs 50lbs & the other 70lbs. Good news is this is because it's mostly real wood not particle board. The hardware was all clearly marked. The one issue with the instructions was lining up the draw slides with the started holes. I had to make educated guesses. I guessed right and the drawers work great. There are legs and wheels. I need mobility so I used the wheels. It took me quite a while to assemble it. But it was worth it. I now have the additional storage I've needed for long time. ... show more
