SET UP: I did this alone and it took me 2-1/2 hours because I'm mindful of how I'm maneuvering and handling the pieces so as not to scratch or break them and I triple-check my work. I also played the video of someone building it, which is on the product page - btw, I noticed from the video that there are some pieces that now come attached, which is nice. I STRONGLY recommend using an electric screwdriver; the cart absolutely would not feel solid if I didn't use it and it would have taken me much longer to build. You'll need the phillips and the square bits. Although it took a long time it was easy and well worth it because the piece is very functional, so great looking, and very solid with great wheels. ... show more

Unfortunately, since it is put together I can’t return it. As you can see in the picture it is not exactly white. So it looks horrible next to my white cabinets. It out together easy enough and seems ok. Also the top piece is not very sturdy and has a hairline crack in it.

This is a great little cart. Very sturdy with decent storage for the size. There are 19 pages of steps involved, so if you can assemble it in the hour it mentions it should take, kudos to you. I’m not a particularly experienced or skilled builder so it took me an entire afternoon, mostly alone except for asking someone to briefly hold a piece in a certain position a couple of times. But most importantly, after having the majority of the cart assembled, I was horrified that the wheels did not seem to click into place and just kept falling out. That would render the cart essentially useless and, coming here to read other reviews and Q&As, I found other people saying this rendered the cart essentially useless for them as well. I was losing hope that this was a fixable problem. I reached out to my sister-in-law, a very good builder, with photos, and she suggested that I should be able to hammer the wheels at the metal underside with the design and they would likely pop in and stay in. She was right and here’s a video of me doing just that. (You’ll notice there’s also a tiny crack near the area, which may be from my frustration/overenthusiasm with the hammer or a previous attempt to get the wheels in; you can probably tap on this a little more lightly with your hammer or mallet.) All of the other instructions are extremely detailed and easy to follow, so the wheel instructions having no further direction beyond popping the wheels in was surprising and frustrating. PIECE OF JUNK. Holes don’t match. Missing screws. DIRECTIONS WRONG and no wording . Do NOT waste your time trying to put together. I have bought many pieces of furniture like this from Amazon. Never have i had soooo many problems. Everything that could go wrong did. THEN YOU HAVE TO TRY TO REPACK ALL PIECES . WHAT a nightmare. I wish i had never bought this PO junk. From the looks of the reviews, half sent are don’t right, half are not. If you are like us and get the crappy one, you get nothing but frustration and the hassle of trying to return this . Now i’ll spend more money on gas and my time . Total bad decision to buy. I hope this helps someone save themselves the hassle. ... show more

I paid $86 for this and after five hours of stressful assembly, it looks like I bought it at a garage sale for $20. It came out of the box covered in dust and hair (what?) with a lot of nicks and scratches. Maybe it was a return. Normally I enjoy flat pack assembly, it's like a 3D puzzle, but the instructions here were poorly written and on two steps, listed things out of order. A lot of steps require reaching into spaces at weird angles with no leverage. There's no quality control, as there are many alignment issues that contributed to the difficulty of assembly (see pictures) and a lot of rough edges. The final step is to insert wooden pegs to act as drawer stoppers, but for our unit the holes were impossibly small. If you have children that open drawers, it might be best to skip this one. I bought it to replace a less attractive kitchen cart with a similar footprint, but the arrangement of shelves and drawers ended up making it hold significantly fewer items. It's in a different room holding craft supplies instead. The only reason I haven't returned it is that I don't want to go through the effort of disassembling it and I don't think it will explode into sawdust if I poke it. But it likely wouldn't survive moving to a new place. ... show more
