Received promptly, faster than predicted actually. Well-packaged, no damage. Won’t be using it on anti-terrorist raids, diving, timing explosives, but I figured that if it’s good enough for the SEALs it’s good enough for me. At age 84 I just wanted a watch that I could see at night with a sweep second hand that I didn’t have to charge twice a day, push a button to light up, or ever change batteries. I had finally had enough of the super expensive manual watches. I wanted Swiss quality and quartz accuracy. The illumination on this watch is very cool. I love my Omega but it doesn’t keep time like a quartz watch. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to buy/wear this Luminox.

This is a beautiful replacement for my first watch that I’ve had for more than 30 years. After that long the water tight integrity was showing fog on the crystal and the luminosity was starting to fade (it still keeps good time though). I’m sure this new watch will outlast me.

Looks exactly the same on my wrist as my trusty Nighthawk that unfortunately I ran over with my lawn tractor. No watch can survive spinning blades. This one looks exactly the same, but is noticeably lighter. The setting wheel does not screw in like the Nighthawk, but they say it's still waterproof. I boat a lot and never take it off when I'm swimming. The Nighthawk kept perfect time for 10 years with just 2 battery replacements. I hoping the same for this one. ... show more

I decided to treat myself to a new dive watch to celebrate 50 years as a diver. I choose this watch for its looks, durability and it's easily read display. After owning it for a few months I noticed that it was losing time. I should have sent it back but for various reasons did not. At the three year mark the watched stopped altogether. Ok now is the time to send it in for adjustment and new battery. I filled out the info for return authorization on Luminox website, add payment of $35 for shipping etc, that was easy. Several days later I get an email informing me that the watch needs a new 'movement'. Material and labor $155 plus the $35 to mail it in $190 or about half the cost of a new watch. I've had Seiko dive watches that lasted for 20 years! While this watch is in the repair shop I purchased a Casio dive watch for $20, works and looks great! Save you money Luminox watches are overrated and unreliable ... show more
