These are nice faux wood blinds. I have used these blinds everyday for a while before writing this review. They are very easy to open & close and to raise & lower even though my blinds are large and cover double windows. They are light weight compared to real wood blinds and seem to be very sturdy. They do have the wood grain look on the slats that some faux wood blinds don't. I have purchased a couple of these now and am very happy with the product. My first box arrived bent, 1 end completely open and metal pieces falling out of a hole in the box. Which was NOT the companies fault (I blame that on the shipping co). I contacted the company and they wanted me to send it back (they would provide a shipping label). I said that was fine but they needed to schedule a pickup because it was to large and heavy for me to carry and load in the car. After some back and forth with this company and amazon because they didn't seem to want to have the item picked up, they wanted me to find the shipper and take it to them, I was asked to take pictures of the box and email them to the company. I was sent out a new one after this. Please be sure to follow the directions on measuring as an 1/8 inch can make a huge difference. They do no offer return shipping. It cost as much to ship it back as it does to buy it. I found this out when I ordered a blind and got a message that the payment didn't go through. Thinking there was an issue with my card I re ordered using a different card because I was not home to check into things at that moment. Well there must have been a glitch in the processing because both cards were actually charged and I got received 2 blinds. 1 Of which I didn't need. It cost way to much to ship it back and they would not bend on that even though it was not my fault. So my final word would be that the blinds are great but not so much when it comes to dealing with the company.

These blinds are perfection. Did 3 windows in about an hour! They look great. If you take your time in measuring, its seamless, and very satisfying. Better than 1/2 the cost and didn't have to wait 3 months for custom from big box store which didn't even provide the valances.

Fit was perfect, Product looks nice. One of the strings was loose on box opening, used tweezers to get it back in place and then checked others. Install was easy although the vallance was virtually impossible to get on, so I used double sided tape to attach it to blind housing. Overall, product is good, but I could have gotten a set from blinds.com for the same price during their anniversary sale.

I love these blinds and have purchased 9 so far. Planned on purchasing more but they have changed the part where the wand goes, to open and close, to plastic. It makes it difficult to open and close and one blind didn’t even include the wand so I have to move back and forth. Will be reluctant to order anymore. I hate that because I absolutely love the blinds. I imagine the change was made to save money. Hope it worked because you probably lost a customer and I have 10 more windows that needed blinds.

I usually wait a couple of months, sometimes even a year, before leaving a review so I can give an honest, long-term assessment. Unfortunately, these blinds from Lumino’s are an absolute waste of money. I made the mistake of ordering six at once. Right out of the box they felt very flimsy, and one of them had a cord that didn’t work at all. I contacted the seller and, to their credit, they were quick to replace it. At the time I thought that was great service but it should have been a red flag. About two months in, every single blind started falling apart, one by one. Within 2 to 8 months, all of them had failed. And for the record, I have no children and no rough handling, these were used in a calm, adult household. I was extremely disappointed. I should have ordered just one to test the quality first. Learn from my mistake: don’t invest in multiples. The product simply does not hold up. However, to be fair, I later purchased another set of blinds for the other rooms from a company called Lotus, and the difference was night and day. To my amazement, those blinds were twice as good in quality. A full year later, they are still standing strong. I bought seven of them, and not a single one has broken. That comparison really highlighted how poor the Lumino’s blinds are. It’s not that blinds in this price range can’t last because the LOTUS ones clearly do. The problem is the product itself. If you’re deciding between brands, save yourself the frustration and go with a better-quality option from the start. Don’t blindly trust the glowing reviews. Lumino’s advertises a 4.5-star rating, but that does not reflect my real experience over time. Before buying, reach out to your peers, friends, or anyone you know who has actually lived with these blinds for months. Real-world feedback will tell you far more than star ratings ever will.
