I got this light for my bathroom. I am slowing replacing all of the lighting in my house with smart lighting. What drew me to this fixture was the night light ring at the top. My partner is always getting up in the middle of the night to pee and likes to leave the light on. Now the night light ring is enough light for him to find his way to the toilet without turning on the full light. It also looks elegant. I wish I could afford to replace all of my can lights with this fixture but it is too pricey for that. The light looks and feels well built. Looks pretty good. Easy to connect to my SmartThings app, which I use to control all my other smart lights. It just popped right up to connect when in sync mode. It's not the brightest, but it's also pretty small (I've got the 4 inch), so I think the best application for this is under cabinet lighting or in small areas like closets, unless you plan on installing a lot of them. It does take 1-2 seconds for the light to come on if you flip the light switch, but controlling via your phone is quick and responsive. I did knock off a star because it did make me re-pair it for some reason after it was off for a while, which was easy, but still, not sure why I had to do that. I've got this one temporarily mounted in my utility room at the moment but will be moving it into a closet in the near future. Although I think it looks nice and feels well built, the price just isn't where it should be. There are similar products from more well known brands that come in lower than this ... show more

When I built my pool many years ago, I forgot to build in some type of music system. Since I live in CA, we swim in the pool a lot, even at night and music would is a nice addition. This Lumary ultra-thin, smart ceiling light was an easy and economical way to bring WiFi entertainment to our pool and enhance our lighting at the same time. With a simple voice command to Alexa I can make a musical selection and turn on/off or dim the light. Not only that but the light makes the colors of the pool area look better while saving energy and can last 10 years or more. It was also so easy to install. The hardest part of installing it was cutting a hole in the cedar wood ceiling. After that, it was a matter of clipping it into the ceiling with two strong spring clips and hooking in a power line to the provided junction box. I was finished in 45 minutes. I was swimming that night to relaxing music. Connecting the WiFi was just as simple. I whole heartedly recommend this eco-friendly fixture as a great buy for entertainment as well as improved light. This is a great little light with a lot of functionality. I got this to replace a can light that had partly fallen out of the ceiling. It always looked odd because it was the only light in that location and it's a random spotlight on a 20 foot ceiling. The fact that it was bronze color really made it stand out and my wife always thought it was an odd "feature". This unit is much more sleek. It's white so it blends in quite well. We don't really use that light because it's in an odd location, so the RGB features of this light turned something of an oddity into something worth having. We had a hole in the ceiling anyway, so putting this light in already makes it look more clean. It's mostly flush, which we like. And I really like the RGB effects since we can get a bit of interesting light patterns at night from an otherwise useless lighting install location. Having just one of these installed seems about right for me. The only other location I could use this is in my kitchen where I'd have 5 of them to replace the other downlights, but I imagine that that amount of RGB would be a bit disorienting. I personally appreciate the impressive lighting capabilities this fixture offers. The RGBAI technology allows for multiple colors to display simultaneously in the accent ring, creating dynamic and customizable effects. I can choose from 16 million RGB colors, adjust white temperatures from 2700K to 6500K, and dim the brightness from 1% to 100%. This level of functionality provides extensive control over the ambiance in any room. The installation was straightforward, designed to fit into existing recessed can light openings. The build quality feels solid, and it seems robust for long-term use. Controlling the lights via the Lumary app, Alexa, or Google Assistant is very convenient. The one thing I'd like to see improved is that the main downlight and the gradient accent light cannot be used at the same time; they operate as separate modes. Also, like many smart lights, it's not compatible with traditional dimmer switches, so control needs to be through the app or voice assistants.
