The bottom grips of the ladder do not adhere to the base. When the ladder was delivered one of the grips was off the ladder & I used gorilla glue to attach it. HOWEVER. when we used the ladder to stow things in our attic, ALL THE OTHER BOTTOM GRIPS CAME OFF except the one I had already gorilla glued. THE LADDER SLIPPED A FEW INCHES BACK WHILE I WAS ON IT AND THE TOP OF THE LADDER SCRATCHED THE WALL UNDER THE ATTIC DOOR. PICTURES ARE INCLUDED. ... show more

Gave it a 3 star rating because it's not designed for easy and quick use. This product is bulking and heavy! Although the ladder looks small and light in picture. There's no stopper on the end so if you pull too hard to extend, the base pops out and putting it back on takes time and aligning. Frustrating. Do not recommend using on stairs (as shown in ad) as it is unstable/uneven. The outer release/lock knobs are hard to pull and push in - be careful. It has to "click" in place to be safe for use. I bought this because it was the best priced 4-step ladder on Amazon. I was anxious that it wouldn’t feel safe after reading some of the reviews, but overall I’m very pleased with my purchase. I’m 125lbs so my experience might be different from someone who is larger and looking for something with more heft. I was cautious about using the top step, but because I’m 5’1” I ultimately needed to use it. With a little stabilization from the window I was at I felt confident standing on the top step. I can’t express enough my satisfaction with this little ladder, it’s amazing! I clean houses and am very short. This allows me to reach fans and cabinet tops with ease. It’s super light and goes in & out of the back of my suburban with ease. Wish I would have found this 5 years ago instead of lugging around that 15 lbs step stool. It's a nice compact ladder, very light, but can feel unstable if you're not on level/flat ground due to the small width. It can also be hard on the shins if you're used to construction grade ladders with big flat faced steps to lean against. It doesn't "lock" open like most ladders, so its quick to close, just make sure it's all the way open ... show more

    • Not as pictured
It seems like a nice ladder but I bought it because it was orange and was very upset when I got a yellow one instead. I know it might not seem that big of a deal but for what I wanted it for it was. I should have returned it but it wasn't worth the hassel.
