Let me start by saying that this glasses didn't revolutionize my beer drinking experience. Don't buy this expecting your beer will smell/taste 1000x better just because of the glass. But, it sure does enhance several aspects of beer drinking, specially the looks which also is part of the overall tasting. No more do I have to tilt the glass while serving slowly and then tilt it back upright to achieve a perfect head. With this glass you just pour straight to the bottom (with proper force) and the end result is a great looking foamy head. I'm sure this is achieved thanks to the narrow bottom. Also, helping the aroma is the glass capacity which is well over the common 12oz bottle. You pour the entire bottle in and are left with a lot of extra space at the top, which helps concentrate the aroma at the narrowing head of the glass. Also this helps maintain the head more time when drinking since you have to tilt the glass in a bigger angle to reach the beer, pushing the foam back towards the base and letting you sip beer and not foam. The glass looks and sounds amazing. Give it a gentle bump with you finger and listen. The thin, but strong, body also helps keeping your beer colder than other regular glasses which are thicker. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. The only downside is that it is somewhat hard to properly clean this glass without buying a good bottle cleaner brush. I also fear this might break easily since they seem to be fragile. Just have extra care while using and cleaning them. I have purchased the IPA, Stout, Seasonal and Wheat glasses, very happy with each purchase. ... show more

My husband was thrilled to receive these for Christmas. He says they do well at keeping the beer bubbly and maintaining a foamy head. Unfortunately, one broke - definitely not a dishwasher item.

I love them, mostly use them with Pales, IPA's, and DIPA's. The Fluting brings the nose right to you while keeping the drinking easy and clean. The nucleation from the etched bottom is perfect, better than any brewery pint or tulip I've gotten with etching. Highly recommend for Pales, IPA's and DIPA's. Been good for the Gose's, Sour's and Farmhouse's I've had in it as well. ... show more

I am very happy with the Luigi Bormioli Birrateque Craft Beer Glasses IPA/White (Set of 2), 18.25 oz, Clear. They look every bit as good as they do in the professional photos, and have gone through the dishwasher several times and still look great. There is plenty of space to pour a 16 oz. beverage with room for a little foam at the top. So, no more pouring, then drinking a little to make room, and then pouring the last of the can (not that this is the greatest problem anyone faces). Also, the shape of the top of the glass has the foam going up and inward a little, and less likely to spill over the edge of the glass. ... show more
