So far, these glasses are exactly what I was looking for: beautiful, well made and affordable. I wasn't sure what I was going to think about the indents, but they're actually comfortable and I find the glasses very easy to hold. These are a must buy!

The glasses are heavier, sturdier. and more stable to avoid falling over and breaking. They replace glasses that are light, thin, and break easily. They make the perfect everyday glasses and look great for large family table settings. One of my old thinner everyday drinking glasses broke easily in my dish tray after washing by hand and setting it in the drying rack causing several stitches to be made on my hand when I picked it up not noticing the broken glass. They also fit well in my dishwasher--less hand washing. Totally pleased! ... show more

Wanted lager number of matching glasses; therefore, purchased same as two previous orders of same glasses. Quality: They are uniquely and uniformly shaped for better gripping, durable, and high quality. They take day to day use (even with children) and dishwasher. One was chipped over 8 months from striking it on granite, fault of the person. We are repeat customers of this same glass sets and have three sets (minus the one we chipped) , and even my adult son was so impressed that he purchased two sets of this same glass design, but without a swoosh color. Glasses arrived on New Years Day and were not quite the same as other orders, with a thinner less bold blue swoosh line. Contacted Libby's customer service, and they sent new set with the bolder blue swish lines that same holiday date - New Years Day. I didn't expect any response until the following week, but within a hour or so everything was fixed! ... show more

First, let's acknowledge that these are gorgeous. These are the Heidi Klum and daughter of glassware. The are both beaitfully crafter, nicely sized, and have body dimples for easy holding. The solid bases are solid. So while the glass body is a nice thin glass, they certainly have weight and feel far from cheap. Great glasses. My only complaint is that the tall ones are easily broken towards the rim. I've broken these simply cleaning them and hitting the rim. They are base heavy and won't stay standing upside down in my dishwasher, and again easily break if they hit other glasses. But with extra care these are fantastic and I'll be ordering more. ... show more

So I reached into the cabinet to get a glass the other day and it literally exploded in my hand. Believe it or not tempered glass can do that and considering these glasses were 40 years old I guess I shouldn’t have been as shocked as I was. So, I purchased this set of glasses from Libby and threw the others in the garbage. They are very basic, nothing fancy, little indentations on the sides for a better grip. Nice heavy bottom which feels stable and safe. This particular style is manufactured in the U.S. which factored in my decision. Libby has manufacturing plants all over the world including China. The only downside to this design is the little dimple in the bottom of the glass that collects water in the dishwasher. I took a good absorbent drying cloth to the bottoms of them before removing them from the dishwasher to avoid dribbles on their way out. All in all I think they were a good purchase. And since they are NOT tempered glass (I made sure), I don’t have to worry about glass exploding in my face again. (If you don’t believe me Google exploding tempered glass). ... show more
