This is my 2nd pair as I abused the 1st ones on an overseas trip. Still, the originals are usable but one of the earbuds the cap pops off after I smooshed them pretty good. So I bought a seconds pair and white this time. They are very comfortable with good sound quality. The reason they get a 4 overall in this category is that the speakers are a 5 but the microphone is probably a 3 out of 5. So average that for the result. The mic works but it is located on the wire that comes down to your chest. So, at least for a man, this takes the mic away from your mouth and, therefore, the quality of the sound you put into the mic suffers. So, if you created some sort of mount that held the mic closer to your mouth, that might solve the problem. I just tend to grab my less comfortable headset that has the mic mounted on a stem when I would like to be better heard on discord or on phone calls. That said, this product works well overall. I kept killing my Apple earbuds because the plug is straight up and down and when I would drop my tablet it would crush the jack. I was looking for a set of earbuds with a side Jack but also the fit of the Apple. These fit that requirement perfectly. However, at their very lowest volume, they are still quite loud and there's no way to get it to go any lower. I don't experience this problem with other earbuds, wired or wireless, so I believe it has to be the earbuds themselves and not my device.
