My sweet 40lb pit bull squirrel ate through her previous wire crate that I got from Walmart. I got this one as a last hope that she could be crated, and I can safely say after several weeks of use that she won’t get through this one! All 40 pound of muscle haven’t been able to chew through this crate yet! The only reason I am not giving it all 5 stars though, is because she was able to chew through anything that came with the crate that wasn’t metal. She chewed right though the mat for the floor and the drip pan underneath. it seems a little counterintuitive to include anything easily destructible in a heavy duty crate.
