My sweet 40lb pit bull squirrel ate through her previous wire crate that I got from Walmart. I got this one as a last hope that she could be crated, and I can safely say after several weeks of use that she won’t get through this one! All 40 pound of muscle haven’t been able to chew through this crate yet! The only reason I am not giving it all 5 stars though, is because she was able to chew through anything that came with the crate that wasn’t metal. She chewed right though the mat for the floor and the drip pan underneath. it seems a little counterintuitive to include anything easily destructible in a heavy duty crate. Besides that though, I would absolutely recommend this crate! It’s a great value for the best price!

Installation is also straightforward, the cage is well-built, and there are wheels underneath for convenient movement. The base won't trap the dog's feet. This kennel was a lifesaver for our family! While we’ve only had the kennel for two weeks, we have a golden retriever, but is a escape artist. This Crate was more than advertised. It has quality locks, excellent exterior finish and all the extras of crates cost a $100 more. I totally recommend this product for dog parents whose charges are over-enthusiastic chewers. My pup is 32 pounds, but it can hold any dog up to 50 pounds comfortably. And if opens from the top also, so I can just drop my puppy in and he is safe and secure.
