Features

  • Metal Made - Our building toys set includes 258 parts and pieces, such as nuts, bolts, screwdriver and wrench, etc. Made of metal, which can stand rough play without worrying about easy collapse. A great careful crafting STEM building kit, worth paying a little more compared to full plastic versions.
  • Bigger Size - This model airplane measures over 4" high, 13.8" long, and 15.8" wide, making it a beautiful display piece to show off with pride. I believe it will be bigger than you expect. Really suitable for model aircraft fans and DIY enthusiasts.
  • Clear Instructions & Easy To Follow - We have prepared clear instructions for the kids, showing the diagrams of each step, and everything is clearly marked. This teaches them to follow directions and ensures they wont become overwhelmed or frustrated while they play. Wrenches and screwdrivers are also included for children to assemble parts easily.
  • Support STEM Education For Kids Aged 8-16 - The kids think carefully and patiently assemble the aircraft from the screws and gears. They are learning STEM skills during this about 5 hours assembling process! At STEM aspect, we believe in empowering kids to promote their creative learning and brain development.
  • Great Collection - Designed with accuracy and built with careful attention to detail, this aircraft building set is a valuable collection and souvenir for model aircraft enthusiasts by imitating the real aircraft carrier and reservation the complex structure of the aircraft.

Ah, the famous Flying Scotsman! It's a real piece of history and worthy of looking up, ... first locomotive to surpass 100 mph and such. This model is a very simplified example, sold as a STEM toy, but interesting to the adult modeler too, if you want to get more creative. As a toy, it's not a bad example of these bolt together metal kits ... especially for the price. Yes, some pieces won't fit quite right, the instructions will be vague in parts, and getting the bolts to line up with the nuts is a medium challenge ... so probably not for a child as their first metal kit. But for the more experienced kid or adult, it can be a fulfilling experience. I'm an older adult with previous modeling experience, mostly in wooden ships and planes. These erector-set type models are new to me, simple but fun. They almost beg to be modified with all those extra unbolted holes. So get goofy creative! I went with a "steampunk thing" using metal gears I bought and random brass and copper pieces I could find in junk drawers. The pointy brass in the front is from an old archery sight. There are two cut down shell casings, some plumbing connectors, brass picture hangers, etc. etc. I enjoyed the whole process. So as a simple metal toy or more ... thumbs up! ... show more

I purchased this for my son in 2023. He and I loved the idea but it wasn't able to be put together at the very end. He and I both tried to make sure that all the pieces were put together properly but the instructions were confusing at times and when we somewhat had it together (it was loose or the pieces would slide) the bottom of the truck were suppose to have holes drilled to attach it and we had to make 2 of the 4 holes. We ended up throwing it away. There wasn't anyway to fix it. I hope this helps someone. ... show more
