I have several of these, one I bought YEARS ago, bought more recently, couldn't tell them apart if I put them all next to each other so that's how well they age. The best part of these is they're modular, if you want to combine the tall kennel with the short, you can, I prefer the tall over the short as going in to clean inside or place food bowls, water etc can be harsh on your back if you're tall. Everything is so easy to assemble I tell people it's not too much of a chore to set one up for a day and then take it back down. Takes maybe 15 minutes to completely take apart or put together. Will hold up to dogs that stand on hind legs and push doors/walls. I do wish the latching mechanism was better engineered, most dogs will never get it open, but with the right vibration of rattling on the shorter ones a small dog could figure it out. I prevent this by sticking something in the key hole shaped open space the latch uses to swivel open so it can't be rattled up. (or nudged by a nose and I'm talking solely on the shorter version) ... show more

The first of year ordered a large kennel and no problem at all and great for litter of shepherds. This time two 4x4 came separately and one totally a mess. I asked for replacement then would ship back since put together. Poor help. I’m hot n will x Amazon.

    • Don’t buy if you care what it looks like!
Wrong item was sent! The pictures in the as are two different styles of kennels. One style has the square bars and the other has round bars. I bought it because I wanted the round bars and didn’t see the two different styles at first. Now, I have a kennel I hate that I can’t return because my dogs are already in the kennels. ... show more

I would have given a 5-star rating, if there would not have been parts missing. All parts are there if you want to build two separate kennels, but if you try to connect the two into one kennel as suggested one can, there is the center bar and the connectors missing. Plus the cover can not be used if the kennels are connected. ... show more
