Don't get me wrong- I love this bed. and I mean maybe it's five stars and I just sleep weird. If you're a blessed individual who can fall asleep on your back, this is the pillow for you. If you're plagued with nasal leakin' while you're asleep, it gets hard! BUT. I have actually just fallen asleep while hanging out on this bed. I never nap. But I've taken several multi-hour naps on this mattress in the last 5 days. I still toss and turn a little while falling asleep but again I think that may be a 'me' thing. I fall asleep fast and I tend to stay asleep longer than my last bed. I DON'T feel like I woke up from being beaten half-to-death with baseball bats. In fact I've woken up feeling pretty refreshed. This has paired with giving up caffeine very well. :) I'm 6' tall and think I would benefit from a Full XL size. But I don't have the space. So considering I knowingly got a mattress I knew was too short, I ain't knockin' points off. It fits my partner and that's all that matters to me. TL;DR Solid bed! not TOO firm. I bought this Lucid 5” memory foam mattress for a simple setup and honestly didn’t expect much, but it turned out better than expected. It’s definitely on the firmer side, which I personally like, especially for back support. Even though it’s only 5 inches thick, it feels supportive and doesn’t sink too much. It works great for a guest room / kids room / lighter use, and it fits perfectly on a platform bed frame. Setup was super easy and just unbox and let it expand. I also noticed it doesn’t trap too much heat compared to other memory foam mattresses, which is a plus. No strong chemical smell either after airing it out for a bit. Overall, great value if you’re not looking for something super thick or ultra-plush. Solid, simple, and gets the job done. If you want it a little more “Amazon top reviewer style” (shorter, more punchy, or more critical), I can tweak it 👍 ... show more

I loved the firm Lucid memory foam and had bought several in the past few years. I have back issues and when I discovered their firm memory foam, it was the perfect firm feel I was looking for. However, I noticed that they were out of stock for a while and when they were back in stock, I bought two of the queen size. These two queen size are supposed to be firm, but they are not. They are more like plush feel and when you sleep on them you really feel like you sink into the mattress. These are terrible, not anything like the several I had purchased in the past. If you are looking for firm feel, these are not it and I don’t recommend them and I will not be purchasing from them anymore. I gave it a few months to hopefully like them but I had used the new two I just bought for a few months now and they become more plush and they are outside of the return window so I can’t return them anymore. I’m sad that their mattresses are not how they used to be. I had recommended them to so many of my family and they had also purchased from this seller. I thought I had found a seller that has the perfect mattress for me who I was looking to buy from from now on but I am extremely disappointed and will not be buying from this seller anymore. ... show more

Bought this April 2022 and now it is time to replace it. Starting to hurt my back something awful. I won’t say there is no support. There is SOME support, but it’s not quality support. When people say this mattress is firm, I think what they mean is, upon pressing your hand on it, or perhaps even sitting on it, it feels firm. But the way it contours to your body after several hours of sleeping, (in my case a few years passed), THIS IS NOT A FIRM MATTRESS. A few details When I stay in the same spot for an hour or more, when I move, there is a considerable dip. It raises back fairly quickly. This doesn’t mean it’s “firm”. So, in terms of the quality of materials and support, this is not firm. I hope that makes sense. It’s an okay matress. For poor people, or young kids who don’t suffer aches and pains and bones are no longer youthful and regenerating. This really is not a choice mattress. People who are saying it is, either recently purchased, or they’re trying to convince themselves otherwise cuz who wants to be stress about sleeping? So let’s be realistic. If you need a mattress, this might be better than your last one, for temporary. In the meanwhile save up for a better one. But don’t misrepresent and exclaim from the mountains how amazing this bed is. It’s not. The one I’m getting next will be a lucid latex hybrid. It’s about $150 more, for the same size. Here’s to hoping it doesn’t kill my back as much. ... show more
