For the cheap price I wasn't expecting it to be good, but turns out it is SO comfortable! I have scoliosis and rods in my spine so I was worried it wouldn't be soft enough, but it's amazing. It's so soft you sink into it. Don't be discouraged that it is bumpy when you unroll it. You have to press on it and lay on it a few nights for it to become less bumpy and more smooth. I absolutely love it! I saw a few reviews saying it was "too soft" and that you had to literally lift your body up to get off of it. Wrong! For me, it's the perfect balance of soft yet sturdy. It's cushy and wonderful! (If I wanted a firm top, I would have kept my mattress as is!) No issues with it moving around (requiring readjustment with the mattress) like the last one I owned. I wasn't sure about the 2-inch foam but it does the job quite well preventing sore hips when sleeping on my side. I had a 3-inch before and even though it was very comfortable I felt like I sank down into the bed a little too much for my liking. I am not disappointed with the 2-inch at all!

This mattress topper has been great, I originally purchased it to help with comfort during pregnancy and have continued to enjoy it. It provides a significant level of support while still being soft. The biggest issue that we have noticed is that it causes us to sleep very hot. I wish that it had more cooling qualities (or less heat retention). Overall the comfort level has outweighed the heat issue for now. Make sure that you are prepared to buy "deep pocketed" sheets when using thus topper as it does add significant height to your mattress. I would also recommend a waterproof cover if you have children/pets as it is not waterproof itself. ... show more

This topper gave off no smell. It expanded quickly. It's very soft but not too soft- just right! The only thing I would say negative about it is because there is no edge support, you do feel like you're going to roll off if you get very close to the edge.

Well my mom came to me and asked one visit if I could find her a good 4 inch mattress topper for 150.00 or less and since a latex topper was out of the question due to her budget, I immediately thought of Lucid. I don’t actually have a Lucid topper, I have a different brand but when I was searching for my own topper a few years back, I almost went with Lucid because they have a metric ton of reviews and their rating is high and very few of them are negative giving how many purchases there have been. Well let me tell you, I’ve been hearing about this topper every morning for two days. My mom set it up on her bed to let it inflate and expand in the morning and she called me to tell me that half the day later it looked great. She ended up sleeping on it that night and she called raving the next morning to tell me how much she loved it and that she’s never slept better and that she should have ordered one years ago. She said she absolutely I didn’t want to get out of bed and that she couldn’t wait to go back to bed. Well she just called me again this morning, morning too, and you know what she said? “They’re right you really should wait a full 24 hours before sleeping on it. Then she began to tell me how how there is something about this mattress topper. She just can’t explain it, can’t put into words and that night two was even BETTER than night one. “Thank you thank thank you you are the best daughter EVER!!” “You knew exactly what to get me, this is perfect!!” “It”’s so soft and so supportive, it is such a dream!!” Seriously she’s been raving about this topper so much that I absolutely plan on ordering another one for myself lol. Oh let me clarify her mattress situation. She had a mattress that she had put in storage probably 10 years ago. She barely used it. Well she has been using the mattress for a few years and had gotten a topper for a different mattress maybe 5 or 6 years ago. When she moved she brought out the old barely used mattress and was using the topper she had been using but that topper finally broke down and had a dip in it. Her mattress may be fairly unused but it’s old. Kind of like buying a basic smartphone with chintzy features. Sure the device might be brand new but the tech inside is from the electronic Stone Age. That’s her mattress. In the world of mattresses, it’s old tech LOL. This topper and a mattress cover I got to go with, brought that mattress into 2022. She absolutely adores it, so much so that I will be getting one to put on top of my mattress even though I have a 3 inch latex mattress topper. I want to experience “THE DREAM” my mom has been raving about for two days. So not only do I recommend it to you, I recommend it to myself! Just be sure to lay it out and give it a full 24 hours to rise.
