This memory foam topper has been amazing! I was waking up with a lot of neck and back pain previously since my bed is about 10 years old, and this topper has fixed all of that. When I first took it out of the box and for the first couple of days of use, the topper did have a very factory smell to it. It was bearable as long as a window was open to allow for air circulation. Now that I’ve been using it for the past few months, the smell is completely gone and the memory foam works very well. I could be sitting or laying on it for hours, but when I get off the memory foam will puff back up into its original shape every time. My boys just have the generic spring mattresses without padding on their bunk beds with a couple of the basic foam toppers each from Walmart, I am wanting to get a couple of the Lucid foam mattresses to replace them but money has been tight so I opted for these instead. I just added it on top of the other 2 basic foam pads on the mattress to make them more comfortable until I can replace them completely. I can't believe the difference these 2" Toppers make! They are more comfortable by themselves than both of the others combined on the beds, added to everything else they feel like completely new beds! My boys, whom are 12, are beyond happy! If these only last a year they will be worth it! I plan on going ahead and getting new mattresses, I will just add these toppers to the new ones for extra comfort when I do. ... show more

Imagine my surprise when my small box showed up to my house. I thought, they really have gotten smart about packing. Figured I had really scored the deal. But it turns out, this is not an actual mattress. It apparently sits on top of a mattress. Which I find ironic, it’s like putting a tiny mattress on a huge mattress. People who put hollandaise sauce on over easy eggs, would probably think this makes sense. I rolled myself up in it. And I lay down. That was not comfortable. It’s itchy. Smells like teens tennis shoes. That is a free feature. It does not work if you put it between the mattress and box spring. But there are no instructions. So how would you know if you don’t try? None of this is in any of the product descriptions. I should probably start reading the reviews before I buy stuff. ... show more

It's thin, light, and doesn't seem like it would offer much comfort or support. Boy was I wrong. This topper is great! This improved the comfort and quality of sleep on our queen sized mattress in our RV. I dreaded sleeping in our RV. After 4 mattress replacements in 1 year and $3k in outlay, I finally just dealt with what we last purchased. Our issue was weight, we were trying to find a good combination of comfort versus mattress weight. This is a hard proposition. We sleep on a Tempur-pedic at home, a mattress in which we love but they are far too heavy for the camper. We went with a lighter weight "firm" memory foam for the last mattress and while indeed firm, it was uncomfortable for side sleeping and just bearable for back sleeping. Adding this cheap, light, 2in thick topper completely changed the characteristics of the mattress. It is now comfortable regardless of sleeping position. At this price point I wouldn't care if we had to replace it yearly but time will tell how it holds up. Until then we are extremely happy with our purchase. ... show more

Feels great! The mattress topper conforms to your body and feels very comfortable. I will say that after two months the lavender smell goes away and the comforter is turning yellow.

I have an RV sofa/sleeper. The cushion was extremely firm. When I put this on top, my hips felt so much better. It is very comfortable. Just a word of caution, the foam can tear easily, so go easy on the material.

I bought this to replace my 1st one and to add to the softness of my mattress. It is really comfortable and definitely adds to my new mattress which is on the higher scale of firm. The only thing that I don't like is that it is very flimsy compared to others I have had in the past. So I actually got the 2 inch and flipped it. I let us sit for about 13 hours and also got a cover and my old bed feels like a cloud! It did have a weird smell but I left the room door open, turned in the fan and my diffuser before I put it in the cover and all is well
