We like almost everything about this, but feel there's a bit of vague marketing going on surrounding the sleeping pad. But I'm getting ahead of myself. The hammock itself is really really good. From the carrying case to the straps to the mini-tent poles for setting up the mosquito net - everything is quality made and stitched well. The mosquito netting kept out all bugs, but also deflected most of a breeze, which means you could get warmer than you like. My kid spent the afternoon reading in the hammock and says he loved the lack of bugs. Despite what the product page says, it can be used with a hammock stand - just not all features of it. You can use it as a regular hammock without the extra stability tie-downs. Where it shines, however, is in the stability/no-flip features. For that, you need a couple of good trees to secure the extra lower straps. My quibble is with the weight and the sleeping pad. If you think you can hike in the backcountry with this whole setup, think again. It weighs almost 8 pounds, which is a deal breaker for most hikers. If you leave off the sleeping pad, however, you're good to go; I wouldn't think it weighs more than 2 pounds. About that sleeping pad: It's inflatable. Does the seller include anything to inflate it with? Well...no and yes. There is no dedicated inflator device. But the dry bag that the sleeping pad comes in has a valve, like you see on a pool tube. And so does the sleeping pad. What the videos instruct you to do is close the dry bag's valve, wave the bag around to fill it with air, roll up the opening (like you would a dry bag), then secure the dry bag valve to the sleeping pad's valve and basically force the air out of the dry bag into the sleeping pad by kneeling on it. I'd think this maneuver would work, but it'd take a long time and several air-fills (the manual says "5 to 6 full inflatings." I did not bother, as we have a car cigarette lighter-powered inflator that works just fine. So, I would totally leave the sleeping pad at home if you're backpacking. If you're car-camping, get yourself a machine inflator and bring the pad. I'm not certain this is a good price for the hammock. Considering the average price of well-equipped hammocks, you're paying at least $100 more for a couple of extra straps and a sleeping pad that requires either an extra accessory or some mcgyvering. That said, we will enjoy the heck out of this, as we're hiking/camping folks.

This lay flat hammock is an amazing way to camp. From quality materials to included features, it has everything needed to provide you with a comfortable nights sleep. Materials The fabric of this hammock are very good. Starting with the straps, they are thick and positioned in a way to provide durability and increase the life of the rest of the materials. The walls are a lighter weight material aimed to reduce weight - not the weight of a dedicated tent but about average for a hammock. The netting on top is very lightweight and my only concern for longevity. It is very lightweight and breathable which is nice, but you just need to be careful for accidental snags. That said, with its fine mesh pattern, it is extremely good at protecting you from bugs. Setup The setup of the hammock is a little more involved that less-featured hammocks, but it's well worth it. There are additional straps on the bottom to provide stability and prevent rotation and poles going through the bed portion to create a comfortable, flat surface. There are instructions and a video to help with installation; while it has more steps, it's easy to follow for almost anyone. The hammock packs up nicely into an included carrying case. It's not like some tents that you struggle to fit inside a bag; it has just the right amount of space to fit everything while remaining compact and a reasonable weight. The weight may be a little much for backpacking, as it weighs probably around the same as a couple person tent, but it is a definite necessity for less back country camping. Overall, this is an excellent buy and a good value for money.

This is an interesting product. You get a hammock with a screen covering, an air mattress with a large inflation bag, and a tent fly to keep you dry in bad weather. It is not a lightweight backpacking solution by any means, but for solo car camping and short hikes where you are not carrying this for long distances, it is a full, all-in-one solution. That said, the instructions, in many languages, are really inadequate, and, in particular, they give little instruction on how to properly attach the fly. There are internal ties (see the 2nd to last photo) that help attach the fly to the aluminum pole frame which are not discussed in any way in the instructions. It will take you a while to figure out how to put it up the first time, in part because the instructions are perhaps misleading about where to attach the straps on the trees. It suggests that you have between 10’ and 16’ between two substantial trees. Ours were about 18’ apart, and that worked fine. It helps to double wrap the top strap around the tree so that the sewn-in loops are available to attach the elastic fly connectors, otherwise, the fly will be limp and probably won’t shed water. The hammock needs to be set up just high enough for you to get in and out easily - if it’s too low, it’s really hard to get out. While I didn’t spend the night in the hammock, I was able to lie on my back and turn to one side without the system tipping. It is a cocoon that you’re sleeping in, so if you feel constrained in a small space, this might not be for you. However, if you’re comfortable sleeping in a small space like this, you get a soft, screened-in sleeping surface which is off the ground and that can be opened for clear nights, and closed in for weather, or for colder nights.

This hammock tent exceeded my expectations. It's lightweight, easy to pack, and makes a great option for backpacking, camping, or hiking trips where saving space and weight matters. Setup is straightforward, and once it's hanging, it's surprisingly comfortable. The flat-lay design provides a much more natural sleeping position than a traditional hammock, making it easier to get a good night's sleep. The built-in mosquito net is a huge plus. It keeps bugs out while still allowing plenty of airflow, and the included rainfly provides solid protection when the weather changes unexpectedly. This is a really nice hammock setup and I especially like the flat-lay design. It feels more stable than a traditional hammock and does a good job of keeping you from feeling like you are constantly rolling toward the middle. The setup is nice and everything feels sturdy and well made for one person. My only reason for giving it four stars instead of five is the price—it feels a little expensive for a single-person hammock. Overall, though, it is comfortable, functional, and a nice option for camping or relaxing outdoors.
