Mattresses are so very subjective to personal preference it's almost impossible to review. I will say that we wore out our first Lucid Plush Queen in about 10 years. we loved it and tried to find the same one but all we could find was a Med-Plush. The difference was night and day. The Med -plush felt like a slab of stone compared to plush! We decided to finally upgrade to a king size since we're always getting a bunch of furry little bed guests. We found the Lucid King Plush, and the comfort was back! Sore backs and aching joints began to subside again. Be aware it does run warm so you might want to lighten up on sheets/blankets to keep from slow cooking overnight. It also did not "fluff-up" as well as the original, but not enough to cause any problems. This is one of the main issues I see with all memory foam mattress reviews. I'm beginning to suspect that this might be an environmentally related issue. Unlike the other two mattresses we had before that fluffed up quickly and completely, we were experiencing very high humidity at the time we opened this one. We live in the desert and usually have high barometric pressure/low humidity. We had just received some rare rain and had low pressure high humidity. Perhaps if we all can remember and note these data points, we can solve a mystery??? ... show more

I ordered this mattress in a King Size medium September 18th, 2020. Initially it was awesome. It helped a ton with back pain. I felt that it was finally the mattress I was looking for, but I was wrong. Around the 2 year mark I was becoming very stiff when I was getting out of bed in the morning. I soon realized that my side of the bed was sunken in and extremely soft. I’m 6’ and 200lbs. My girlfriend’s side is still firm and holding its shape, but she’s only 100lbs. It sleeps very hot! I feel like a rotiserie chicken no matter what brand of cooling sheets i use. the foam is breaking down on 2 corners and its sinking. I wear about 160 lbs and i am sinking way into this mattress ad i wake up stiff more times than not. im gonna give this to my cats and get something else stat! ... show more
