IMO: LUCID makes great products. We’ve got lucid pillows, previously had a lucid queen bed, and lucid mattress topper. When we moved states we decided to finally upgrade to a king. We've had the bed for a few weeks now. Originally was going to go with the plush because we are both side sleepers but when i checked Lucid's website they recommended the Medium Firm if the side sleeper is over 160lbs ( if i remember correctly) which i am and my partner is close to. I sort of regret not trying the plush out first because the medium firm is REALLY firm when first fully inflated. But as we've been sleeping on it its definitely eased up after the first few nights and is very comfortable and supportive in any sleeping position. Definitely a high quality cover and it was worth springing for the gel/bamboo foam version of this because it does not retain our heat at all compared to memory foam toppers i've had in the past. If you're a side sleeper and anything under 180lbs or so would definitely recommend going for the plush version though. ... show more

We took a chance buying this and the adjustable frame for my mom. She hated hybrid mattresses, so it really was a chance thing. But she lay down on this one and was so happy… maybe it was that we had been moving her and Dad in to their place all day, and she was tired. But she hasn’t changed her mind so far in a couple of months, says it’s very comfortable to sleep on, and looks well rested, so I think it’s really working well for her! The pros: it expanded to 12 inches thick. It was ready within a few hours. There was no smell. The cost for a queen is affordable. The cons: I ordered the plush but it's definitely not plush, it's still comfortable but didn't cradle me as I expected it to. It's not a full queen of 60x80, it's a few inches shy (not a deal breaker though as it's just me and I was sleeping on a twin for the last 5 years) All in all I love it, but if you're looking for plush this is not what I expected. Please read the whole review. I put this at one star so that you would read my experience . I didn't know what star to put for this. First off I received a brand new mattress that was stained. I decided to contact the manufacturer to see what they wanted to do. I was very discouraged to receive what I thought was a new product with stains. It makes me wonder what type of quality control they may have if they can package this from their Factory with stains. Who knows what the rest of the mattress looks like inside. So basically after contacting them they just blew me off and told me to contact Amazon. No nothing no help no offer to even give me a new cover which is removable to replace the stained one. So the moral to the story is be wary as they will not honor anything or offer to help in any way. On a good note I did contact Amazon and they were more than helpful. They had offered some solutions for me with plenty of options. I did not want to return the mattress and go through that hassle. Now they did offer to return it but I didn't think that would be feasible. So five stars for Amazon for being so accommodating. 1 star for lucid as they are not at all accommodating and do not care about what their product is like when it leaves their Factory. Reality of it all is if they don't care can you only wonder what actually is going on at the factory and that they have no quality control to send a mattress out of their Factory stained. Now for the mattress itself it is reasonably comfortable and I would not call it plush more to the medium range. It does work for us as we are both lighter people. We did not want a firm mattress. We'll see if it even gets softer with time but overall it works. My only concern is how long it will last based on my quality control concerns. Should I have any issues I am sure Lucid would be unwilling to honor any warranty so like I said buyer beware. Thanks to Amazon so making this purchase feel at least a little better. No thanks to Lucid for their terrible quality control and customer service. ... show more
