I would highly recommend this for tween/teens upgrading their mattress size or more petite humans. I had been struggling to find an affordable mattress that I (F 93lbs) could sink into. I had only ever used firm mattresses before this and now I can actually sleep through the night AND not wake up in pain. 10/10 mattress. Also! It only took about 12hr for my mattress to fluff up and I left the window open so the smell could air out as well. (Slight plastic smell when first opening but it wasn’t super awful). I would highly recommend getting a cooling mattress topper if you sleep hot because this mattress doesn’t help much with that. Note: I’ve only had this mattress for about two months and still am waiting to see how long it will last long term. So far so good :)) ... show more

So my girlfriend had an old queen size box spring mattress that was in terrible shape. When we moved in together, we brought her bed with. The mattress kept getting worse and worse so we ended up going to both several chain and local mattress stores. The cheapest we could find for a basic queen size memory foam mattress was $700. We bought this, somewhat hesitant about buying an off brand mattress from Amazon. We left it to inflate for 4 days before sleeping on it and it was so comfy, not too hard and not too soft. Just right! We then put a plastic mattress protector/cover on the mattress to protect it from spills, etc. Shortly after that, we noticed the bed wasn’t very soft or comfy anymore, almost too hard. We thought that the mattress had finally showed it’s true colors and we were a little upset. On a whim, we removed the mattress protector/bag and all of a sudden, the mattress was super comfy again. Lesson learned! So don’t put a mattress protector on the mattress and it will be fine. Just don’t spill anything on it, although the mattress does have a cloth cover that goes over the foam that’s removable. ... show more

When I first put this bed up and let it expand .. at first I was kinda disappointed because the firmness didn't seem firm as I would liked to have it .. but as time went on after sleeping on it I started to realize that it actually got firmer as time went by and now I absolutely love this bed ❤️ it is amazingly firm and very comfortable just the way I like my bed to be and I sleep so much better 😊 Thank u for making such a good quality happy comfortable bed . ... show more

We got this for our spare room, and neither of us like it. One of us likes plush and one firm, and we agree it is too hard and too soft respectively. So while I think it might be a little firmer than expected (I prefer firm), I think it must be medium by process of elimination. Our guests have liked it! I do find it odd how it conforms to your body and doesn't change very quickly if you roll over. I just wanted to get a new mattress that had medium support. I am 5'8" and 200 lbs. I don't like to sink into the mattress too much because i sleep hot and then will get all sweaty. This mattress is indeed medium to medium-firm, i don't sink in too much but just a little bit which is very comfortable. If i want to sit up in bed it's not a problem (I work from home and sometimes just have my laptop open on my lap as i'm laying in bed). I think there is a layer of cooling gel too, which does keep me cooler than other mattresses I have purchased. i'm really happy with this mattress, it's fantastic, and easily competes with other much more expensive mattresses. Don't spend $1,000 on some brand name mattress! it's a waste of money and i'm glad that new companies have disrupted the market and figured out a way to bring inexpensive mattresses to us. ... show more

I have actually ordered two of these. The first one was for my son's first apartment. He got the queen size "firm" mattress. He has had it 2 years and it's still great. I just ordered another one for my daughter's first apartment. She got the queen "medium". She loves it so far! Don't let the way it looks coming out of the box scare you!
