    • This Lawrence 000/10978/001 works very well out of a rating 1 to 10I give it a 10 I've had it on my boat for about a month month
Very strong did not think it would work at 1st but after I put it on it holds it in the place the death is fine I give it a 10 beholds really good om and I took it out to day and it held really good seems to hold a lot of water inside of it but it's fine I took tape and went around it on the outside and took a nother C clamp and went around it to the bottom and it made its 30 or on the little brackets that hold the the Lawrence 000/10978/001 which is a 83/200/80 /455 800 worked very well I have no complaints ... show more

As others mentioned, I wish it was stronger. Bumped the bottom of the trolling motor pretty hard and it didn't break. Don't know if I was just lucky or it is stronger than it looks. Lowrance should certainly review the design and make it stronger at least where the clamp goes through the slots. A lot of cash for one piece of plastic. The clamp was too big for my Minn Kota. They should include a smaller clamp in the package also. The packaging does not state it will fit an Elite 5x transducer but it does and the same part number is shown on the box for the Elite 5x. ... show more

Used it on my Minkota and so far so good. I used heavy duty wire ties rather then the stainless hose clamp that came with it... Mostly for looks and to help not break it by over tightening the clamp like others have complained about. I added a tie to the wire just above the transducer to keep it out of the prop should the mount get knocked off by a rock or trees. Go Fish! ... show more

Giving three stars as even Lawrance said this mount would work with the transducer i need. After calling back again, getting a different person, this transducer mount was build for the 83/200 transducer only! So if you do not have the 83/200, do not waste your money. Great quality and i bet it shields the 83/20 transducer quite well. ... show more
