  • Well behaved, slow color change
Color: Gradient Matte Rainbow
This is a really pretty filament (the pastel matte color change). I blew through the first reel in 3 days, partly because everything is high infill to maximize the color change, partly because the prints are just so fun. Bambu Studio's default matte PLA settings worked right out of the box, no stringing or hassle and only minor adhesion issues. The color change is slow, as unfortunately always seems to be the case with color changing filaments; I printed the axolotl dragon at very high infill to maximize color change, but it's still only two colors. I would buy it again if I needed this particular colorway. ... show more

  • Great pastel color combination.
Color: Gradient Matte Rainbow
Once zeroed in on your printer, you can't go wrong with this. Adhesion is good, basically depends on your setup and calibrations. Great pastel colors and chalky like texture. Again stringing will be limited due to calibrations settings. Filament is very good and withstands humidity well.

  • 3D printer
Color: 2colors Silk Sky Blue/Rose Red
Still learning our 3D printer. But the price was good to the point I didn’t mind making mistakes. Beautiful colors. Good quality and work great in our printer.

  • Color consistency/pattern between spools does not exist, but great filament.
Color: 3colors Silk Blue/Green/Red
The Good: Great looking filament, Neptune 4 Max 250mm/s print speed very happy using Elegoo Cura looks great at .2 layer even on smaller models. Could run faster. ONLY complaint is don't expect to swap in a second spool on the same print which I'll try and explain below. Tl;DR When I purchased a second spool not long after I purchased the first (a few weeks) March 2025, the color orientation was not the same so a mid print swap did not go as planned using the tri-color. If it helps to understand that visually, think of the order around the filament like a watch face starts at 12 oclock and looking at the filament at 12oclock is red. 4 oclock white, 8 oclock blue in a clockwise pattern. With tri-color if the filament is rotated while printing the color will shift on the print and look terrible depending on the design. An egg for example did not look good mid print color shifted. Back to the explanation: If the plastic is put on the spool at the manufacturer say with blue coming off the spool naturally in the 12 oclock position without you twisting/bending it you will now have blue where red was on the other spool. I tried orienting mine in the head by paying attention to where each color was but the whole batch i think was spun on reverse from the first spool I purchased so i had to start over a 5h print. Looking down from birds eye it was going red, white blue instead of red, blue, white so the red portion of the prints was good but where blue should have been was starting to print white. ... show more

  • Beautiful - too hard/slick for extruder; feed issues. Darker red?
Color: 3colors Silk Blue/Green/Red
Bought this for Yule ornaments. Makes a beautiful iridescent-appearance print, once I got it to print. The red is more a rose color. I would prefer a slightly darker rose or maroon, consistent with the blue and green. Pics are with, then without flash. Seems to be too hard and slick for the (Bambu P1P) extruder to get a strong grip; result is intermittent feeding. What helps (so far) is: - dry filament before use (my default for all filament) - slow the printer down (maybe unnecessary, but it helped, before I tried the next part): - pull filament off the roll by hand, at least while the spool is mostly full, so the extruder doesn't have to grip and pull hard enough to spin the 1kg spool AND push filament through the nozzle. Once I started doing this, prints flawlessly. Assuming you are using this in vase mode and have slanted model surfaces (e.g. a ball ornament): - limit the surface slope; so far I'm trying 50° from vertical (Bambu Lab slicer 40° from horizontal) - no fillets in CAD - adaptive layer height - wider line width (0.8mm for a 0.4mm nozzle) so layers overlap more ... show more
