She loved the vintage gold. This product is quality made, and packaged well. It comes with all the hardware needed, but depending on the type of recessed receptacle your contractor installed in the home, there is a possibility of needing to reuse the bracket mounting screws in the bracket currently installed in your home. I’ve seen people complain about the directions included. They are really more of a parts list than directions, but anyone experiences in lighting fixture installs will not need them. It’s pretty self explanatory. If you are a newbie, I suggested completely feeding the wiring through the entire assembly on the ground before climbing the ladder to hang this. The three distinct wires are self coated individually and then all are coated in a rubberized to being together. Each wire had a label on it, with L, N, and a Ground symbol. I used a box cutter to strip away the outer tubing all the way to the point I determined I needed to trim the wire. I did so to be able to keep the labels on the leads, and then slide them all up their individual wires, so as to retain the labels. Once I slid them up, I then cut the leads off where I needed them. It’s wisest to have a helper, but if doing alone, you need to be strong enough to hold up the entire assembly while you put the screws through the bracket enough to hold the assembly, then you can sure it up tightly. This gold finish is not as portrayed. It is more silver than gold. They also do not allow free returns, so be very sure you want to keep before purchasing!! It cost $100 to return it!

The perfect addition to the high ceiling in dining room. Tricky install but my husband and I worked through the issues created by the 12’ ceiling height. I recommend this high quality, low cost fixture.

Not DIY friendly, and customer service is unresponsive unless you get them on chat for every step of the interaction. Also they want nearly a third of the price for extra chain. Do yourself a favor and buy a more expensive/higher quality chandler from someone else. (Doesn’t look like brass in person) This didn’t look as nice as I hoped but I was okay with that until I realized the chain is several feet shorter than the wiring (see photo). No problem, I rewire lamps all the time, except unlike other wiring only the ground wire is marked (with a microscopic thread in the wire). Took a week to find out that it will take 4-6 weeks and $85 to get a 16” of chain that matches the rest of the chain (nothing you can buy at the hardware store will match the weird gold-ish color). So on top of requiring you to have enough space in your electrical box to shove 4-ish feet of extra cord or have to spend an ungodly amount of time trying to figure out which wire is which (or hire an electrician), I am going to have to spend minimum $14 on parts from the hardware store that don’t match or $85 for parts from the manufacturer that do but then can’t install for another month or two?! ... show more
