I love this blanket so much I've bought four of them, one for every bed in the house! They are the perfect weight - they feel light but still provide some warmth, and the comforting feeling of having a blanket on. They are soft and 100% cotton, which is great as our family is trying to avoid breathing in microplastics from polyester all night. They are breathable and help so much with my perimenopausal night sweats. I've had mine a few months, just since the weather has been warm. I'm so glad I found this blanket! I nearly splurged on "The Fleece Co." Muslin 6 later blanket for $100+! I thought I'd give this a try. I ordered the terracotta (orange) color and it is beautiful. Being a muslin blanket, I expected it to be pretty thin like our baby blankets but it actually has a nice heft to it! It will be perfect for a summer blanket or coverlet in the winter here in Michigan. I just got it today and already have another on the way 😆 I'm replacing all of our synthetic throws with these eventually too: bigger, softer after washing vs. rougher with fleece/polyester, and natural materials are a big plus 👍 The rust orange /terracotta is a gorgeous color! We also got the beige but it is more of a buttery yellow color (see pic next to a cream colored pillow) ... show more

This is pretty, it is a bright beige so if you want a deeper beige, go with the Khaki color. It is nice and light, the material is really nice and washes very well! I will say, I don't know if it's as "breathable" as they claim. Although it is very light and comfortable, I would say that it's not 100% breathable, but everyone's sleep temps are different. I received my Love's cabin 100% Cotton Muslin Blanket, 6 Layer Lightweight Breathable Gauze King Size Blanket 108 x 90 Inches, Soft Summer Blanket for Bed in Cyan. I immediately opened it and spread over my king mattress set to check the actual size. To my delight it was right on point with the advertised dimensions! I then washed it in cold water on delicate and elected to dry on low heat alternating with cool air only. Due to the 100% cotton content, the blanket dried quickly and I could immediately feel it was even softer than when I first opened it. I did not notice any shrinkage using the above described method I used to wash and dry. There was NO pilling, shedding, fading of color or distortion noticed after laundering! It has a nice hemmed edge around all sides and could be stretched to a degree if I so chose to do so. It looks very nice on my bed and due to my history with other 6 layer muslin cotton blankets, I expect to sleep very well tonight. I live in humid and hot south LA and needed a blanket that keeps us cool. I previously purchased 2 king size 6 layer 100% muslin cotton blankets from The Fleece Company. Although I do like them, the sizing is not adequate for a king size mattress as they simply cover the top of the mattress. Also, I paid roughly two times the price of this one blanket from Loves Cabin! I know this review was long, however, I attempted to cover all the questions I personally had while shopping. I hope this helps any of you out there searching for a 100 % percent muslin cotton blanket!!!! I will definitely purchase this brand again. TLDR: Buy it, it’s great! For reasons that made sense at the time, and are now obviously misguided, hubs and I decided on luxury white linens for our bed. We foolishly did not account for the inevitable aging of The Chihuahua, now lovingly referred to as The Dribbler. You see where this is going of course. The small incontinent canine was leaving little yellow droplets all over our previously (and shockingly) pristine white bed. One morning, as we headed to the laundry room yet again, when we had reached the peak of our frustration, as well as the end of our collective denial, I decided to buy this blanket. There are similar versions of this from other manufacturers and judging by reviews it seemed like this would be the best. We now no longer care about the dribbles. Are they there? Yep! Do we see them every morning? Nope! That has done wonders for our mental health. We’ve had the blanket for months and it has held up over weekly washes and tumbles in the dryer. There’s been a little shrinkage, not terribly so, the bed is well covered. We have a duvet and quite frankly I love putting this on the bed because it gives the bed a sharper look, less frumpy than just the duvet, though some lumpy bumpies still show. The color is the same as it was when we ordered it and looks like the photos on the website. My own photos show it lighter than it is in person. There are no holes or rips or pills or snags, despite the fact that The Chihuahua has made it his near permanent home. The weight is light and thicker than I would have expected without feeling heavy. We have it on top of a duvet so we don’t need it for warmth. In a home with no air conditioning and this with a sheet I think it would be pleasant. If you’re in need of some warmth I doubt this would be enough. It’s not “soft” like a cozy blanket would be, but it isn’t offensive or scratchy. I’m sensitive to texture and it doesn’t bother me in the least. When it comes to how things feel, believe me, I can be bothered. The natural look is quite attractive and elevates it from just a blanket we threw over the bed. I would buy again if needed and would also recommend to friends or even give it as a gift should the occasion arise. I definitely recommend it much more than The Chihuahua. We've had this blanket for a month now and I just washed it and dried it like normal in our machines and it came out perfectly. We have six little dogs that range from 10-20 pounds and they all sleep in our bed and dig at the blanket to make it comfy and it is still in perfect shape!! Also, this blanket is perfect for summer.
