I do a lot of Amazon reviews that are pretty honest and you never really know the quality of bed sheets or pillows and it's kind of a crap shoot as to whether or not you're going to get something soft and fluffy or cheap and flat. These pillows are pretty amazing. I ended up buying two brand new ones for my bed as well as for the spare bedroom. What's nice is that the outer cover you can remove in case it gets soiled and you can also remove some of the memory foam chunks that are inside if it's too firm or fluffy for you. These same pillows at places like Walmart or bed bath& beyond have literally been double the price. I was floored to see these two pillows for $100 at Walmart. Which I typically don't shop there, but I wanted a comparison. Definitely would recommend and I have also known someone else who has them and they can't say enough good things either.

Waited a month before writing review. Originally 1 of the 2 pillows was not as full as other. I didn't need to remove any foam from the fuller one, so I contacted company who promptly sent me a 3rd pillow to add filler to other one. I don't believe the new one contained quite the same amount of fill, but that makes sense, since its purpose was to provider extra foam only. They did send it with another pillow cover which was nice. They are heavy! 5 lb each! So be prepared. I am strictly a side sleeper, 6 ft, 180 lb and have broad shoulders, so these are perfect thickness for me. They will sink in as you sleep on them, but will eventually bottom out to where I find it a perfect thickness. I could probably even add more foam to both, actually. I use one for between my knees, which I find perfect for that correct alignment. I had been using 2 pillows for prob 10 years, and now I don't have to deal with that! They sleep cool at first, but don't expect them to stay cool. But I don't find them hot either, once warmed up. For the price, you won't find anything like this in stores. The extra firm pillows I've been searching for are finally here!

Estas almohadas son DE LO MEJOR !!! Compre una para mi y para mi hijo, y verdaderamente se siente la diferencia a las almohadas anteriores a esta. Son de una calidad impresionante por un precio MUCHISIMO mas economico que muchas marcas famosas. Al mes de haberla adquirido, mi esposo durmio con ella una noche y quedo enamorado de esta almohada asi que tambien tuve que pedirle una a el jaja y su almohada que es marca TEMPUR-PEDIC y le costo $200 y pico de dolares ya no la utiliza mas, quedo fascinado con esta almohada y ahora no la cambia por ninguna. Asi que recomiendo que las compren, no se van a arrepentir creanme, su cuello y cuerpo se lo agradeceran a largo plazo.

Good pillows. We ended up taking out a good amount of the foam to get it where we liked it. The only issue was it had a weird chemical smell, I can't describe it. It's mostly gone now, but it gave me a headache the first couple of nights.

I researched for the best pillows for retaining shape and got answers that shredded foam was one of the best. We have had these pillows for 2 weeks and so far they have mostly retained their shape. They are heavy pillows compared to just a foam pillow. I like the fact that they have a removable , washable cover. One side is for cool and one side for warmer sleep. Not so sure there is a difference, that I can tell. After a night's sleep the middle is flatter but this comes back when not used. It is comfortable and I have not had any neck pain with this pillow.

This pillow is perfect for my needs and is as described. It is kind of heavy, but that isn’t an issue because I don’t have to carry it around! It has a removable pillow case, so you don’t necessarily need to have another case, and can remove it to wash it. The inside cover does open with a zipper to remove filling if needed, but I find the amount included is perfect. Some said it has an odor. I’ve noticed the slightest of slight odor, but nothing I can’t live with. I washed the case and it is almost odor free now. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. I am pleased with my purchase.

I bought one of these pillows to try and I'm buying a second one. The pillow comes very full, but once I was able to remove some of the foam it lays perfect! The cooling side really does stay cool. Finally an adjustable memory foam pillow you can customize. I recommend saving the box and bag it comes with to put the extra foam in while you adjust the pillow to the right height/size you want. This way you can add the foam back in if too much was removed.

I appreciate that foam shreds are removable and you can adjust to preferred firmness- I was able to make another pillow with the extra foam I didn’t need (bought a 2-pack). I didn’t like that some foam shreds appeared soiled or discolored and the pillow is just heavy overall. As for the cooling effect, it’s not as noticeable with a pillow case, but it does work. So far, I think it’s okay- shape retention and head support could use some improvement.
