  • A great ladder, compact foot print
Size: 6 feet
I am one of the few people tho owned a 5’ step ladder...why because the foot print of a 5’ about a foot narrower...rarely did I miss the extra foot, but loved the small foot print. Well now I have a 6’ step ladder, and the innovative design means that it can fit in a 2’ x 3’ area - just like my old five foot. The innovation doesn’t stop with the structure. The corner cut out means that no longer do I have to spread a ladder out and twist to work on a corner... But it doesn’t stop there, Need a leg up to put Christmas lights in a tree or cut a high branch? The notch works to perfection ...no longer do you have to worry about the ladder sliding. Additionally, plastic retention clips that old the legs together mean that if you are leaning the ladder against the wall you don’t have to worry about the support legs opening up while you work. I also doubt the leg clips handy when toting the ladder around. The top has good options for tool are fasteners. I love the ladder, and am glad to finally not have to hear the ridicule when I say I don’t own a 6’ step ladder. While it is hard for me to put myself in the shoes of an individual that didn’t have any step ladders, I have to say this would be a great first ladder. If I was looking to buy another 10 or 12 foot ladder, I would endorse this design just for the space savings. ... show more

  • Be Sure You Need This Ladder Before You Buy It
My ladder did not arrive looking new. It is shipped in a box that is too short for it. The base is protected by thin plastic sheeting. The parts of the ladder that were protected by the box showed signs of size. This is a forty pound ladder. Trying to move it is a challenge unless you are a strong young person. I bought it because I have a cathedral ceiling and need to get to a smoke alarm and light fixtures. It works well for that but moving a tall ladder around is not easy. ... show more

  • Purchased by mistake...
Size: 8 feet
This isn't a review about the ladder, but the customer service. I thought this was going to be a nightmare after I got finger happy and clicked BUY NOW on a 8 ft 300 lb capacity ladder. I instantly canceled the order, after looking at the purchase time and the canceled time...it took less than 5 minutes. My wine pickled brain thought all was good and I was my own super hero! The next day I got a message from the seller stating my shinny new 8 ft ladder was on its way to me.....by freight....OMG! I messaged the seller saying I canceled the order is less than 15 minutes that I had indeed ordered this ladder by mistake...I live in a small San Jose apartment I do not need a 8 ft ladder nor do I have anywhere to store one. the seller responded quickly to give me options on returning and refunding the ladder. The best part of the whole thing and I swear it's almost worth the 200 bucks just to tell this story to friends. Was driving up to my little duplex and seeing this 8 ft florescent orange and green ladder hanging off my 3 ft porch. The customer service was outstanding, I received a full refund and another great story to tell. ... show more

  • Awesome ladder
This may be the best ladder I’ve owned. It is a bit heavy but not too bad. Sturdy and tall enough to cover a lot of tasks. It’s not cheap, but worth it.

  • Versatile
Size: 4 Feet
Quite versatile, has many uses at home and at work. The ability to lean has been useful (and taken some getting used to). Just used it at home to clean some windows. As a low-voltage journeyman it's been great for trimming wall devices and head-end build out. Even roughing in cable in a pathway just out of normal reach--I use it multiple times a week. Be aware of the loss of ladder top space due to the cut out for poles/corners. It loses a few points for the shape and size of the tool holes and slots, the thin slots are not quite large enough for my needle-nose pliers, and the center hole is not quite large enough for the head of a full-size drill (Werner tends to do better at this), but it's hard plastic--it can be modified. Pressing the clips to unlock the ladder also takes getting used to, no more carrying your ladder with one hand full and kicking out the legs without putting anything down, both hands are needed to push both clips at the same time. Overall I'm glad I invested in this ladder, the minor drawbacks are outweighed by the many efficiencies it allows. ... show more

  • Very Cool Ladder
Size: 4 Feet
I got this ladder because it has some cool features. First off, the ability to lean it up against walls and corners is a HUGE plus. I have never seen a ladder like this on job sites. That would have to be the main selling point of this ladder. Other than that, it has plenty of slots for tools on the top, and it's even high-vis green! Joints are a bit stiff out of the box, so I will need to lubricate before first use. I have not used this ladder yet because the job I am on does not call for it. But perhaps in a month or so I will get to use my 4 foot ladder. However, I can assume that it is reliable and sturdy like most major brand ladders. This one feels considerably more sturdy than the average ladder I come across. That may be because it is brand new. Electrician, Commercial/Residential, 40 hours/week ... show more
