  • MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS: To determine the width measure inside of the window opening from left to right at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement. For best fit, find the size with a width closest to your measurement. The height of the blind will be the longest measurement from top to bottom. A blind with a height longer than your recorded measurement will work as the blind can be stopped at any position within the window frame.
  • INSIDE & OUTSIDE MOUNT: This blind is suitable for inside and outside mounting of a window frame. Inside mount means completely installing the blind inside the window frame. For depth it is recommended for the window frame to be at least 1-1/2 deep for a flush inside mount. For mounting outside of the window frame, measure your window opening and add three inches.

No one would ever guess that they are not wood. They look very nicely-made. Quality, from Vietnam. They are on three small, high windows in my dining area, in an open concept house. They add to the clean, modern look of my house. We are very happy with these blinds. They are on a West-facing wall in California, and the light and heat control are wonderful. If I had them on low windows, though, I would use curtains over them at night. Almost all Blinds have those little holes for the strings. Also, we haven't installed the corners of the attached valance, yet, so cannot say if they work well. My husband (who hasn't installed anything in decades) put up three blinds at one time and did a great job. He needed a power drill, but it was quick and easy.. His only problem was a metal plate beneath the plaster, but that had nothing to do with the blinds. That's why a power drill helps with the unexpected. If you don't have one, perhaps borrow one--you'll only need it for a brief time for a few blinds. That's his luck--first time my husband's done home improvement in 12 years, and now every time we walk into the living area, we say "they look so good!" ... show more

I purchased two of these blinds for two identical bedroom windows (same measurements etc.....). I measured a few time to make certain I had the correct measurements however, they both ended up being a bit shorter than expected. One fit OK however the second was simply to short and isn't even long enough to rest in the brackets. I'll have to make something to extend the length of the to in order for it to stay in the bracket without falling out. I have a cat that enjoys sitting in the window sill and I'm not going to have this think come crashing down on top of her. ... show more

These were perfect. They are sturdy, room darkening, and bright white. I had ordered others that were supposedly white but were a light beige. These look classy as well because the valances are made well and top off the look. They were also easy to install.
