  • Great Headrest
I added this to a different Lorell chair than the one it was designed for, but it works *perfectly* with it; all I had to do was measure and drill two holes in the back, and that was that! I wasn't sure if I'd like having a headrest, but this thing is comfortable and doesn't get in the way.

  • Okay with Workpro Quantum 9000
If you're looking for a neck rest to add to your Workpro Quantum 9000 desk chair, this one will work. However, you will need to do some modifications to connect it to your chair. I used Camvate C clamps to connect it where the handle was, which was at the top of the chair's backrest. I can lean back and rest my head or sit up and have added support. I went with the Camvate C clamps because I didn't want to damage the chair frame by using screws. However, I think if you used spacer material and reasonably long screws, you could position this appropriately without Camvate C clamps. I researched for a while and this was the best choice I could find (aside from reordering the chair's entire backrest+attached headrest piece from the overseas manufacturer). Good luck! --- Update: Opted to permanently connect the neck rest to my chair. I think I used a 5/32 drill bit, screws that came with the neck rest, 1/4"-20 bolt, and 7/16 wrench. I move around too much during the day and during gaming so the Camvate clamps didn't stay on well. ... show more

  • It fit on Workpro 9000 from Office Depot
I have a WorkPro 9000 series mesh chair from Office Depot for years back and was thinking to get a headrest. Then one day I saw Valerio's post on August 16, 2022 on this Headrest. Thanks to the photo he posted I decided to buy this and it was a right decision ! While the installation is not plug and play, it is not difficult at all. First remove the existing hole cover from the back. I pried it out with a flat head screwdriver as I won't need it again. So It came out in pieces :-)) Then insert the head rest center core through the opening and measure the location of screw holes on the chair frame. Used 2 self drilling 1" screws and washers as I do not want to drill screw too deep into the chair frame. Done !! ... show more

  • Does the trick on a Haworth Zody
I wanted to add a headrest to my Haworth Zody, ideally in a way that did not require drilling holes. I followed a tutorial titled "How to Add a Headrest to any Office Chair" at a website called Ergonomic Trends. It involved using two universal c-clamps, also offered by Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018RLY6B2) and using them to fasten the headrest to the back of the chair. This approach won't work for all chairs, but it did for mine. From the pictures, you can see the positioning. It does position the headrest slightly forward of what I would prefer, but it is definitely usable. I may be able to play with the clamps' positioning to change that, but I have not been bothered enough by it to try. One thing I would note is that if I were to mount this headrest directly to the chair, instead of using the c-clamps, it definitely would position the headrest too far forward. Since the headrest does not have forward & backward adjustment, only vertical position and tilt, this could definitely be an issue on this model of chair. ... show more

  • Get the appropriate size clamps, no need to drill (incoming, longish review)!
So the chair I have is a mesh mid back chair and I thought with my short torso long legs that it would suffice. That wasn't the case as I was getting neck pain. I didn't want to return the chair either because it was already assembled, so I thought of other solutions. I'm so glad I came across this headrest!! I read every review and noticed that several used c clamps. If I didn't read the reviews...the headrest alone would not have worked for my chair as it would have protruded way too much at the front. Using clamps fixes this problem. I was nervous though as the clamps that majority suggested were a bit pricey ($12 per clamp)..and kind of large for the back of my chair. There was one reviewer named Turner who posted that they bought 2 pack clamps (2 for the price of 1) and also provided pictures of how it looks. Their chair looked like mine so I followed what they did. *FOR REFERENCE: The thickness of where the clamps go on my chair is about 1.5 inches long so MAKE SURE the clamps you're getting can open around your chair's measurement! I used the 2 included screws followed by 2 washers (not sure what size sorry, it was an extra from an old project) in each clamp to fill in the gap between the headrest and clamp (as shown in pictures) followed by the included Allen wrench. Headrest features: I am quite pleased with the outcome. No need to drill holes on your chair at all. I can easily watch tv (it's mounted a bit high on the wall) while using my computer on my desk without straining my neck. I love that you can adjust the height of the headrest AND also can adjust how you want the headrest to look (small force is needed when bending). • Steelcase Leap V1 high back headrest
It comes with 2x M6-1.0x25mm socket head cap screws. I think these will work for a steelcase Leap V1 and maybe a leap V2 but I ended up purchasing and using 20mm long screws instead. I also purchased M6-1.0 nuts and washers from the hardware store to fasten the headrest to the inside of the back plate. I drilled 2x 7/32 holes which are slightly smaller than the screws so they threaded into the plastic backplate giving the screws a snug fit into the backplate. The holes are about 2.75" down from the top of the backplate. However, it's the nuts and washers that are the primary holding mechanism. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to get the foam backing back on with the nuts in the inside of the backplate but had no problem at all. I was also concerned I would feel the nuts through the foam but I can't feel them either. So a good purchase overall. It will definitely give some much needed neck support if you're experiencing neck pain like I was. ... show more
