Love this product! I’ve been using this conditioner for several years and have very long hair. With L’Oreal I know that I’m not putting toxic ingredients on my hair and my hair rarely tangles, grows fast, and is always soft and healthy. My beautician is always amazed at the health of my hair and the lack of split ends, I’m sure it’s this product. I only have to cut my hair a couple times a year now which saves me a lot of cash. While this is a great size for the price, it's really not for me. I find it just too sweet smelling, and not like the natural apricot scent but rather very sugary like a dessert. It's also not as conditioning for my dry hair. Didn't help with keeping it smooth or tangle free. I found hair falling with this product. So will go back to what I was using. I wanted to give this a try on account of the price and the high rating but it's not as effective for me. I do have highlights and need something with a good protein, keratin and moisturizing balance to keep my hair soft and manageable. This didn't do the job for me. I have very fine hair, but a ton of it (will also note I am almost 47 and color). Before I found this product I had trouble with conditioners - waxy build-up that weighed my hair down or polar opposite that did absolutely nothing (ugh, the fly away / static stage - yuck). I use this as a deep conditioning treatment about once a week (slather on clean, wet hair, let sit about 10 min, then rinse), especially during dry times of the year, and just a bit (about size of a nickle) to run thru with my fingers every couple of days between deep conditioning. No heavy build-up nor fly aways, and I even dumped the spray leave-on spray I used to use to control static. Was purchasing this for years at a local big-box store who stopped selling it. In general, I love L'Oreal products. This shampoo though, breaks through any other shampoo I've used as an adult. Because I'm a homebody, I wash my hair, and there is a lot of it, twice a week. In one use I could see an amazing difference in my hair. I usually wash it, condition it and leave the conditioner in, and then towel dry and let it air dry. No exaggeration after one use my hair had no frizzies, or dry spots. My hair was soft and manageable and now I'm sounding like an early 80's shampoo commercial lol. ... show more

Can you give 6 stars for value and scent? I've been a strictly high end shampoo and conditioner gal for years (usually Bumble & Bumble or Kerastase), but let me tell you, this shampoo/conditioner combination is the absolute best. A few years ago, I was traveling and left my travel shampoo and conditioner at home. Without time to look for a salon, I popped into CVS and bought this combo based on its smell alone. I swear, it smells INCREDIBLE. I had low expectations, but this combination is now 100% part of my routine. My hair tends to get build up fairly easily, so I always keep a few shampoos in the rotation, but this is actually my favorite. I can't believe I'm saying my favorite shampoo/conditioner combo is $13 for both! Take that, Kerastase! Well, actually, L'Oreal owns Kerastase too, but still. In any case, buy this combo. I've been using these since April thinking by now I would have felt and seen a difference in my hair. It's july now and nothing has changed for my hair since I've been using it. I have fine, frizzy hair so what doesnt work for me may work for someone else but IT MAKES MY ENDS FEEL VERY DRY, AND SCALP OILY. SOMETIMES NO MATTER HOW MUCH I'VE WASHED IT AND RINSED OUT MY HAIR IT DOESNT ALWAYS FEEL CLEAN OR LIKE IT WAS RINSED OUT ALL THE WAY.... this shampoo sucks for my hair and I will not be buying it again. ... show more
