I am infatuated with these blanks. They are thick for a card, not easily bent, but not heavy either. They look great even before engraving. For those of you who don't have a laser engraver, you can even engrave by hand. These are a great alternative to paper business cards.

I ordered this 100 Pieces of colorful aluminum business card blanks to use with my 20W Diode Laser and they worked very well to make several dozen different colored business cards for my daughter. The card blanks engraved easily and the detail came out well and I am happy with the results and quality of the blanks.

So I'll be up-front about this: Anodized aluminum business cards for laser engraving are commodity items. There's not a lot of difference between different brands, except for thickness and the particular color selection you get. This set gives you ten each of ten different colors. It's a pretty standard grab bag, and includes silver cards, which you aren't likely to have a lot of success marking with a diode laser. I use the other nine colors, and the silver ones just go in a pile. All the colors except silver engrave easily on a diode laser. I typically run them at 5000mm/min at 80% power on a 10w diode laser engraver, which works great. The black will often end up smudged rather than bright silver, but dampen a melamine "magic eraser" and that'll polish it up in two quick swipes.

This set of card blanks comes with a good mix of bright colors. The size and thickness is as described. Compared to other options these are on the thin side, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The thinner material makes these flexible and easier to store in a wallet so it depends on your preference. These are very easy to laser etch designs as the silver bare aluminum contrasts the anodized colors. One minor detail that these cheaper card show is the outer edges are silver bare aluminum rather color matching the anodize finish. These are probably coated as a larger sheet and then cut out. Overall this is a nice set of colorful cards that came with no noticeable defects or scratches to the surface.

I haven't had any issues as far as the quality of these aluminum cards when it comes to the surface of each card and the thickness is spot on. As with most diode lasers if you have been doing this for any amount of time you will already know that certain colors cannot be lasered without really putting your laser through the ringer, so just keep that in mind. The colors like red, and black work best on a CO2 laser. Overall, I am pleased with this pack and I would purchase it again. I hope you find this review helpful!
