The laser has been working well for me and customer service has been very helpful. Everything worked out of the box and wasn’t hard to get assembled. Somehow I messed up the main board by switching motor cables to the rotary attachment. Customer service helped me troubleshoot the issue over email and then sent me a new main board for free without any hassle. I’m back up and running.

The mechanical design of the head assembly is abysmal. The Z-Axis was designed by a toddler. All of the weight is on one side and it wants to rotate forward. It squeaks and squeals because the screws rub against the gantry arm. You have to really crank down on the bottom roller wheel or the eccentric will rotate by itself while in operation and get so tight it stalls out the steppers. You have to tighten the tiny alignment screws so tight that you cannot adjust the focus because there is so little clearance, and the thumbscrews are a joke. I hate this thing. I had high hopes for this machine. I've had it for months and I'm quite literally ready to just throw it in the trash.

So many positive thing's I could say about not just this laser but the company it's self. Let me just start by saying I bought this as a Christmas gift for the wife a couple years ago, Anytime I have had a issue the company has always gotten back to me in a very reasonable time. Yes their are a lot of lasers out their but how many can you buy a frame extension kit for them, I got the extended frame kit and I could not be happier. Anyone thinking of getting a laser get a LONGER RAYS trust me you can save money over xtool and do MUCH bigger projects rather then buying a xtool and being stuck only doing small projects. I have used this laser to do tile, Copper, Granite, Glass, Custom greeting cards and so much more. Have attached photos of a few things that I have made with this laser.

I bought this on January 29, 2025. February I had my 1st issue with it. A motor went out. Took like 6 weeks to get a replacement from LONGER from the warranty. Here it is October & now my 2nd issue with it. I keep sending emails to customers support. With all the information. What it's doing & what it's not. What i checked. Also sent them all my contact info. They email me back 3 times now. Keep asking me the same stuff. I have sent them. This is ridiculous. I not happy at all. I have a wedding event that I need to have stuff made for in 3 more days. So I'll have to cancel it. At last minute. Makes me look very bad. Not happy, I wouldn't ever buy LONGER products ever again or recommend their products to anyone!!!
