It goes together simply if you follow the instructions. The materials needed are numbered for each step. Tools are included. After a couple of test runs I was able to make some nice items, like key fobs with names engraved, a desk top Name and title sign with company logo, etc. I find that when there is any problem it is operator error. It has a large area within which to engrave projects. It is plenty powerful for anything I want to do. I am getting an air assist to minimize scorching and one of those honeycomb metal things to prevent damage to the surface under my laser. I have no complaints.

Wow! Easy to setup and a perfect burn on the first try. This is my first laser engraver and everything worked out of the box. Lots of tutorials online for LightBurn and the Ray5. Hope to see a lower price on the 10watt laser in the future.

I bought the 5 watt longer laser, unfortunately less than a week later I received an email that the longer 10 watt laser module was available, I had emailed whether the 5 watt laser module could be exchanged for a small additional payment, but Longerray could not agree to that, but i could. buy a 10watt laser module, a bit of a disappointing answer, but now I'm looking for a new lase。
