It was working great, then suddenly, in the middle of a burn, it disconnected, and I can not get it to reconnect to lightburn. It is very frustrating. I have contacted Longer and am waiting for a response. I will up date my review once I hear back from the company.

I ordered this primarily due to cost (yes I’m cheap). I got the laser, set it up. However, within a week, the laser stopped engraving. One call to customer service and another week or so for delivery, they honored their warranty and shipped a new laser unit. Since then, I have mastered the unit and have begun to make a bit of a profit making custom leather patches. I’ve used it on wood, cork, and glass and metal (the 10W is not strong enough to actually engrave either and you need to purchase a spray to bake it onto the glass/metal), I would recommend getting a honey comb to do the actual cutting on to protect you surfaces. Pros: * easy to setup * You will need to purchase a subscription to Lightburn or similar software, but it easy to use. Cons: * Of course, the first unit was faulty * There should be more and detailed instructions for the unit and operation TLDR: Good unit for the cost. Don’t try to do materials that a 10W laser is not meant for. Customer service is fantastic, however, you will probably have to leave a message to have someone contact you. Simple to operate.

This product is really easy to assemble. There are video and paper instructions. It’s also really easy to use, I follow the instruction and got what I want to engrave on the wood. You need to download an app to do more with different kinds and style of engraving. It’s a great tool to personalize gift for birthday and event. The engraving speed is really fast and the finish is very smooth. The machine itself is very durable and easy to put alway for storage. I love it and really recommended for anyone for engraving.

The media could not be loaded. It was easier to set up than I had expected. I’ve never used a laser engraver before. But I’ve been looking for a new hobby. I think it’s a great way to make personalized gifts out of natural materials. So far, I’ve only tried the test files, but it was easy enough to get going. Assembly was pretty easy, too. It took me about 40 minutes, and I was not trying to hurry. There was one part I was confused about, but the QR code on the instructions cover led to an assembly video, which made it clearer, and I used that for the rest of my assembly. I’m still trying to figure out how to use the software, like how to center the design on your wood, but definitely use the “frame” option before starting to burn your design (at least for the first time). Related to that, I only placed the engraver on surfaces that could be damaged, “just in case,” I used the cement in my garage. Don’t try it on a kitchen table or countertop. And wear the included safety goggles. Overall, I'm really impressed with the speed and detail it can do.
