What an amazing machine. I’ve used other machines and this one totally outshines the others. Great power, speed and precision! Technical support at Longer has been great as well. I have contacted tech support a couple times now and they have been quick to reply and have helped resolve issues very quickly. I’m getting ready to purchase the extension kit for only $99.

Update: i have been using this machine for about 3 weeks and the lens is already toast. Buyer beware I have always loved the longer brand. I have 3 of their ray5 lasers (a 10 watt and 2 of the 20 watt). Decided to get this 40 watt B1. Does not matter what you do, it is impossible to get a repeated cut or engrave over top of the first one. Have tried everything. Only give 2 stars because of the power it has. It also came with what is supposed to be air assist. The air from it is like a grasshopper fart trying to blow a dandelion. It doesnt do anything.

For 2 years now we have run nothing but equipment from Longer. Top to bottom in and out day after day putting out over 13,000 items this year alone. All on our longer lasers. Their customer support is right on top of it smashing through production flawlessly with products that roll off the shelf and even our most picky customers leave tips! The quality and accuracy is amazing. Backed by a company that is right on top of it. These guys work hard and stay 100% on top of their product. I don't do laser engraving, but I use these with my laser hair remover. I misplaced the pair of glasses that came with my remover, and these are a great fill-in. They fit well, and I feel they adequately protect my eyes for the short time I have to wear them. I also like the case they came with because it helps protect them from scratches.

I don’t do any laser engraving, but I’ve been looking for some glasses like this for a long time. I can never find regular sunglasses that seem dark enough to protect against the sun’s harsh glare. These Longer protective glasses are like a pair of dark sunglasses. The polycarbonate lenses also protect from flying objects and splatter, so they are similar to safety glasses. These lightweight glasses have wrap-around side shields and integrated nose pads. A unique feature of these glasses are the long black stems that go back behind your ears – they’re extendable to accommodate a wide variety of head sizes. They also fit comfortably over top of my prescription glasses, which is a big plus! I love that they come in a zippered protective case with a clip. I read that green is the most commonly used lens color for laser engraving and welding because it blocks out harmful ultraviolet and infrared radiation. So these green glasses should provide plenty of protection from the sun's rays too! They give everything a greenish tint, but this is what helps relax your eyes from the glare of bright sunlight or reflected glare from water. These glasses are great for working outdoors or playing on the beach. They’re not rated for driving, but for general use you can see just fine. If you’re sensitive to light like I am, why suffer from eyestrain or eye fatigue due to the summer sun. If you find yourself constantly squinting or getting a headache, I highly recommend these green glasses! Oh, and they also look pretty cool!
