This turned out to be a really nice coat. Looking at some of the other reviewers photos, I thought the coats looked a bit wrinkly and under-filled, kind of flat. But, when I got mine, I hung it up and per the directions, made sure to pat it and fluff it up every so often. I let it hang for a couple of days and was amazed to see it fill up during that time. All the wrinkles filled out and it turned out to be a nice looking puffer coat. One of the main reasons I chose this coat over the others is that the zipper starts way down at the bottom of the hem. All of the other competitors coats the zipper starts about 8 inches up from the hem, so there's less coverage warmth-wise. Another thing I discovered that is a big bonus is that this has a double zipper, which means you can unzip it from the bottom hem for air or access, leaving the top part zipped. This feature isn't listed in the description, so this was a nice surprise. Also, this zipper is very smooth and easy to zip up and down, no sticking or difficulty pulling it up or down. The two pockets exterior pockets are nice and deep, and lined with a soft microfiber type cloth that makes it feel nice and warm. As others have said, the exterior breast pocket slit is just for decoration, there's no actual pocket there. However, there is an interior pocket in that same place that is perfect for holding a phone or something you want to keep handy and safe. The hood is large and is secured by two snaps in front which also serve to keep the wind out of your neck. As large and warm as this coat is, it is pretty lightweight and doesn't restrict your movement. I got this coat to give to a lady in need and I know this will keep her warm and as dry as possible in the coming cold weather. This was definitely a good buy and a good quality coat for being out in the elements. If I needed such a coat, I'd definitely buy one for myself!

I cannot say enough about this coat. I wish I could give it 10 stars! It is so incredibly warm. I love the length. The zipper is very sturdy and the the giant hood and high collar with snaps are perfect! I am glad I was not deterred by other reviews that mentioned the sleeves being a tad too short, because unless you bend over and pull yours arms back the length is still very good and the cuffs around the sleeves work well with gloves and keep the cold air out. I live in Georgia and just endured the winter storm we got and wore this coat all weekend while taking care of our horses. I wore it out in the freezing rain and I am happy to report this coat is actually water proof! I put this coat to the true test and it passed with flying colors! Well worth the price. I can highly recommend this coat to anyone who wants to stay warm in extreme weather.

Comfortable and warm but the fabric is cheap and thin, gets soaked in light rain or snow. Coat hanger loop tore off 1st time hanging. Zipper gets stuck frequently. Like the style of the coat and the length.

This coat is perfect for me. I’m 5’2” and weigh 155 lbs. The length is perfect and the arms are perfect for me. Usually arms are way too long. I went with Amazon’s size recommendation and glad I did. I usually wear a large but ordered an extra large. The hood will keep out the cold wind which is exactly what I need for cold Midwest winters. The pockets are very deep which means there’s no way my phone will fall out. The color, deep taupe, is beautiful. Absolutely love this coat.
