This air styler barrel is way more convenient than the standard barrels that came with my T-GOGO hot air styler. I love that it can switch direction with a simple little twist of the knob on top. This saves the hassle of having to switch uncomfortably hot to the touch barrels in the middle of styling. I found the construction to be really solid, and there is nothing flimsy about this barrel. My only complaint is that it is a fairly tight fit with my base, and I have to make sure it is wiggled into the socket well along with ensuring the lock/unlock button is in correct place or I if I need to slide it into place manually. While this is a bit annoying it also ensure that there is no air leakage or wobbling of the attachment while in use, so it isn't a deal breaker. Just wanted to note that I did the video with freshly washed and dry hair, so the curl didn't take as easily as it normally does.

’ve been wanting the name brand version of this for my air styler for a while, but it’s either always out of stock or not in the budget at the time, so I figured what the heck, I’ll try this out. First impression was it looks just like the real thing, it’s just a different color than my OG wand and other attachments. I attached it to my styler and realized the air vents that are on here don’t allow for as much airflow to exit as the name brand does. The knob at the top that changes the direction of the airflow is sort of in a way loose, I guess? If I’m going to change the airflow direction and I don’t turn it just right and press it hard, it doesn’t seal I guess, which just does not allow it to fully attach my hair to the wand and style it. It’s really weird. I don’t know how to explain it. It fits into the styler just fine, doesn’t get stuck, and it’s easy to release it. It does seem to get a little bit hotter after use than the original name brand ones would. I do like what it does for my hair as far as the look of the curl/waves. I’ve only ever had the one that came with my set when I originally bought my air styler, and I like that one too, it’s the thinner tapered tip wand, but I’ve always wanted the solid thicker round one. I have very fine hair so it doesn’t take much for me to dry it or for it to curl on the wand. I’m able to get away with loading up more hair on the wand than recommended per the instructions so it’s typically super quick for me to style some waves and curls. My biggest issue/complaint with this attachment is the lack of tension with the hair that this creates. If you own an air styler, you know in order use these wands to curl or wave your hair you have to create the tension with your hair and slowly bring the wand closer to your head. There’s literally almost no tension at all with this attachment on. My hair is just loosely wrapped around the barrel, with random pieces flying around not even wrapping up with the rest, versus being tight like it is with the original one. The original one gets so tight that I can’t pull the wand away from my hair without pulling on my scalp. But when using this attachment, I can pull the wand away from my head & hair just flops right off. All in all, it’s decent for the time being because it does curl my hair and this will just buy me time until I splurge on the real thing. And I honestly can’t drag the product too terribly much, because when you own a high-end styling tool, you can’t expect any off brand version claiming to be compatible with it to truly work as well as the original products would. So part of this is on me for choosing to use an off brand wand attachment in the first place. But like I said, I’m not mad about it. The quality of the wand itself just isn’t impressive and it feels very cheap.

I have the older Dyson air wrap that I got in 2021 so it came with the four different curling wands. They are great but it's so frustrating trying to figure out which one to use and anytime you have to switch direction you have to switch the wands. This one absolutely changes the game. I think some of the newer Dyson air wraps come with this but you can actually change the direction of the air basically doing both sides of your hair using this. I'm still getting used to the Dyson airwrap overall however I do like the fact that I can easily switch from side to side. Highly recommend!

These long barrels for the Dyson Airwrap work okay, but not as well as the original ones. They do curl my hair, but it takes longer and the curls don’t seem to hold as nicely. The fit is decent, though they feel a bit looser on the attachment. I like the color and design, but the performance could be better.
