Good quality hammock, seems like it will last. Lol oks sharp and is nice and comfortable. Assembly was easy and quick. There's a decent amount of stretch so be sure to mount it high enough. The pillow is also a nice touch. I have doubts about fitting two US adults in the hammock unless you want close snuggling. Perhaps two small adults or two kids. Very small Hamic. I’m replacing the one I bought from Home Depot which is 2 - 4 feet longer than this one. If I had to do it again, I would find a longer hammock to buy.

The hardest part about setting up this hammock was choosing a place to install it. There is not really an ideal location with small trees on my lot so I had to set it up between 2 large silver maples, the closest together being 16 feet. Even using the MalloMe Hammock Tree Straps that are 12 Feet Long (24 Ft Total) I had to use a ratchet strap to bridge the 5-6 foot gap. At least I am confident that the hammock will not fall. The TegerDeger hammock came in a sturdy clear plastic bag inside its own nylon bag for storage. I laid everything out on the ground to assemble. All parts were there with an extra bolt and nut, allen wrench and a regular wrench for the nut. The only real assembly is the metal brackets to the spreader bars which are in 2 pieces on each end. I found that it is easiest to place the bottom F bracket first and slide the bolts through to the top of the bars. Then slide the top E bracket over the end of the bolts and then screw the nuts down by hand. Tighten the bolts and nuts with the allen wrench and wrench. You are now ready to hang the hammock. The material of the top and bottom is the same and is outdoor upholstery quality, smooth to the touch. The fill between the 2 layers makes the hammock pillow like yet firm so it does not feel stretchy like single layer hammocks. The spreader bars are made of solid hardwood and the brackets are steel. Straps and cords are nylon. The stitching is mostly single stitch with some double stitch at the ends. I would prefer to see more double stitching for durability. I found getting in the hammock is easiest by standing at the middle point of the hammock and walking backwards so the narrow part is against your legs and back. Slowly sit and turn you body so your head and feet are pointed the correct direction. It does help to hold the narrow ends of the hammock with your hands as you balance yourself into position. Laying in the hammock has a slight rocking motion that is very relaxing. The is definitely enough room for 2 people since it is only 5 inches narrower and less then 2 inches shorter then a queen size bed. This hammock is nice once I finally figured out how to put it all together correctly. The instructions are not that clear on everything. Pay special attention to the wood frames. They need to be in the correct orientation to fit the metal brackets. If you put the bracket on backwards on your first wood brace it will mess everything up for you. I confess I thought I knew what I was doing. Once put together the hammock is nice and wide enough for two. Very comfortable, sturdy, and looks nice. Unfortunately, the included pillow is too flat and flimsy it is almost useless. The hanging ropes at both ends are extremely short putting a lot of strain on the wood bracing in use. Additionally, once assembled it does not store nicely unless you take it all apart. This makes it less desirable to take to a car camp site even worse backpacking. It is made to put up at home and use. Putting it out of the rain will prolong its use. At least I hope it does only time and use will tell. ... show more

This hammock is very comfortable, seems well made, and is spacious for one person (might even fit 2!). It comes with accessories like a pillow and bag, which are nice perks. Compared with a typical rope hammock, this is much more comfortable and fancier. However, the v-shaped spreader bar must be assembled before first use with a lot of screws (included). Once assembled, it isn't going back into its bag, and it becomes quite unwieldy. Depending on your use case, this may not be a concern, but it isn't quite ideal. This is not only extra large but the way the spreader bars are positioned give it a more natural feel when laying on it versus the ones that have one spreader that’s straight across. The hardware and chains look good and the fabric is thick and has a soft but durable feel to it. The detachable side pocket is big enough to put several small items in and is a thoughtful addition. The pillow is ok but the filling doesn’t reach the length of the pillow. I’ll play with it a little and see if that helps. It rolls up fairly good but when I went to put back in the nylon storage bag, I noticed it was already coming apart at the seams so I didn’t even bother trying to put it back because I could tell it was going to tear more. So the thin nylon bag is a no for me and it’s always a bit of a bummer when a product of this quality comes with a cheap accessory of some type.
