I bought and returned a few other hammocks - too flimsy, didn't fit the stand it said it would, etc. This was more money than I wanted to spend, but it's sturdy, easy to put together, beautiful, and STRONG. I hope it will last at least a couple of years. Hopefully longer. I have it under a shaded pergola. It's SO inviting. After I set it up, I got in it and was there for an hour, listening to birds and watching clouds. Heaven!

This was easy to put together and is so sturdy and comfortable. We will see how it looks after a summer outside but I’m currently so happy! I haven’t looked up if it’s machine washable but I would say that it gets a bit dirty since it’s one full piece of fabric, unlike some other hammocks. The color is exactly as pictured, nothing wrong with it. Looking forward to lots of great use!

My first hammock came with various stitching flaws. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement. Their customer service was excellent. The second one appeared to have some dog hair on it and small scratches in the wood, maybe from transporting but neither affected the performance. The way I have it hung between the trees it flips around and around in the wind. I previously had rope hammocks but decided to try something else. I’m guessing this one won’t last as long as those ones, but time will tell. It’s going to catch all the tree debris if I don’t take it down or at least pull it to one side when not in use, which I know I won’t do because I just like looking at it. It makes me think of relaxing just seeing it stretched out in the backyard. So, 4 stars as a lawn ornament, but likely 3 stars for form, function (it’s a little slippery to get into) and longevity. Update: Because the wind can catch this, unlike my former rope version, it flips around and around a lot. I don’t like that about this style, however, the slipperiness has gotten better and this is such a comfortable hammock once you’re in it that I’ve decided to move it to 4 stars. I still wouldn’t put two grown adults in it though.

Meets expectations! we loved the color, and it hasn't had too much fade after one summer. We stored it for winter, and if we keep doing that, we will expect it to last us several more summers. This was great for the price, and I would purchase this again. It stable, and comfortably fits 2 adults and a dog, but we all know she kicked me out of it and has thoroughly enjoyed it all to herself.

Lesson learned. ALWAYS open and check your purchase when they arrive. I just opened ours today, April 5th. Hammock was delivered on March 5th, return/replacement date was April 1st. BE AWARE not even a full 30 days if you have issues. That alone is a red flag. First impression, the mesh material looks nice and sturdy but it definitely won’t be as comfortable as the cloth one but the mesh will probably dry quicker and last longer. I noticed the finish/sealer on the wood wasn’t done very well, drips and quite a few spots not sealed. The unsealed spots were rough. That would explain the review where the wood had developed mold on it. Lastly, the wood on one end was split clean thru where they had drilled the hole to attach “V” together. My personal experience, it is caused by a dull drill bit push thru too fast. Fortunately, Amazon customer service to the rescue with a full refund. And that is why I continue to shop on Amazon.
