I have been looking for a wool pea coat for several months, have also purchased several coats, all of which had to be returned. My body shape - broad shoulders, small bust, wide hips, which makes it a nightmare when trying to buy coats/jackets. In order to fit in hips, I need a plus size, but then bust area is ridiculously way too big. Just as I was about to give up, I found this black London Fog pea coat in a 1X and decided to give it a try. Happy to say my search is over! The coat is slightly a-lined, bust area is still a tad big, but will be perfect when I layer up on really cold days, plenty room in sleeves not tight at all, AND hip area fits perfect! The thick wool blend fabric is also very nice, as the tight weave makes for a softer smooth feel. Too bad it doesn't come in camel!

Was looking for a warm but not bulky coat to wear on a cruise we are taking in January. We’re leaving out of New York, but going down to the Caribbean, so I’m gonna need something for a couple of days. The coat is very well-made. Seems to be quite warm, I upgraded the scarf, though I must confess, the look is nice. The one that comes with the coat is meh.. Fits Perfectly. Very nicely cut, quality you expect from London fog. Delivered quickly as promised. So far very happy with my choice.

Size up! I usually wear a 2x but it was very snug in the shoulder & around the waist. This is due to the traditional inset sleeves (as opposed to raglan sleeves) & sewn on belt across the back. Beautiful color & wool fabric for both the jacket and shawl. The design of the jacket is very nice, taylored look, but as a result, it runs on the small side. Better to error on the side of caution & size up. My only problem with the larger size was the thick collar that rose up into my hair at the back of my head. I have almost no neck so this would be a problem for me comfort-wise but also I don't relish looking like a turtle with it's head drawn into it's shell! I'm sorry to say I have to return the larger size because of this. Darn- beautiful jacket.

This is a very nice, comfortable and stylish coat. I bought the red and the color is beautiful. Not too dark and not too light. It is perfect. The scarf is a lovely compliment as well. I did size down to a medium, and I’m glad I did. It is a little snug with a heavy sweater, however, a large would’ve been too big and bulky I think. It fits perfectly with a lightweight sweater or a long sleeve blouse. I am 5‘,5“ and I weigh 160 pounds.

I had to return the coat. It is very heavy and I know I would not have worn it. It fit so nice everywhere but across back of shoulders a little tight, but I think next size up would have been big everywhere else.
