The media could not be loaded. I recently picked up the LOMTAP Light for Video Recording and I’ve been really impressed so far! The kit comes with a 6.5ft adjustable stand, phone holder, and carrying bag, making it a great option for TikTok, YouTube, live streaming, or photography. Setup was straightforward—the pieces are easy to assemble, and the instructions are clear. The stand is sturdy and tall; I’m 5’7” and fully extended it goes well above my height. The adjustable knobs let you lock the stand at the height you want, and the light head can be tilted forward, backward, or even straight down thanks to the flexible neck. It also includes a switch on the cord in case you don’t want to use the remote. The lighting itself has multiple brightness and color settings, which makes it really versatile whether I’m recording videos, streaming, or taking photos. The only small downside is that the stand, while lightweight and portable, could feel a bit less stable on uneven floors—but on flat surfaces, it works great. Overall, this is an excellent studio light for the price: bright, adjustable, easy to transport, and perfect for content creators. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable lighting setup for filming or live streaming.

Out of the three settings for the tone, none of them are bright. The cool tone is probably the brightest, yet it still isn’t strong enough — especially in darker settings. Even in daylight, the lighting is weak. The cord is short, and honestly, even if you use an extension, the reach doesn’t matter because the light isn’t bright enough to make use of it.
