I absolutely LOVE this rug!! I just got it today so I can’t say much for durability or shedding. It is incredibly soft and thick enough to not need a rug pad underneath. The design is very pretty and the colors are muted enough that the pattern doesn’t feel busy. I have it in a guest room currently but could totally see myself putting it in a nursery or girl bedroom. I have gotten two other rugs from this brand and those two shed quite a bit but have held up well and are also very thick and good quality, so even if this rug isn’t for you, find another one of theirs! ... show more

This rug is very soft. I got it for my 9 year old daughter's room, and she loves it. I haven't noticed any shedding. Looks high end and provides great area for her to play.

Size 2'-0" x 5'-0" : I was really torn with this purchase because while I was confident about the quality of rugs from Rifle Paper Co., I was trying the Eden collection for the first time and that too for my bathroom! None of the other reviews had mentioned using it as a bath rug, and I'm sure some might consider that sacrilege. In fact the rug is so beautiful, I sometimes feel a bit guilty using it in the bathroom. But then, you do spend quite a bit of time staring at the floor. Maybe that's a great place for a beautiful rug? Anyways, I was worried about its absorbency and any possible smells, etc. in a bathroom setting. But it's been 3 weeks in a hot, humid DC summer and the rug has held up very well. It's super soft too. I earlier had a Rifle Paper cotton rug with a plush bath mat underneath, but with the Eden cloud pile you don't need that 0 just this rug, and every time you step on it, it's a sense of joy. My only (mostly unfair) grouse is I would have loved for the pattern to be a bit more defined and the colors a bit more vibrant, but it isn't easy to get cotton-rug vibrancy with a softer rug. So please don't let that be the reason stopping you! ... show more

Love this rug!!! It is a very cozy rug! Thick and well made! The colors are beautiful! I feel like this rug works for spring and it also works for winter/christmas. For us it is definitely worth the money!

I like the pattern and the softness of the rug. After using for a few months the biggest downside of this rug is that it easily slides out from under the couch and tv stand it’s under so will buckle/bunch up and has to be fixed often. Otherwise it’s held up well so far and it’s nice!
