Bought this in the 9X12 Ivory/Smoke. This is a beautiful rug! I am very happy with it. It’s softer than expected and has a thicker pile unlike a lot of the rugs out now. It lays perfectly after being rolled out. It came packaged well. You can tell it’s a higher quality rug. The color does have a yellow undertone that I was not expecting but pairs perfectly with my blue couch. I would definitely recommend it. Bought for $300. Worth the little bit extra IMO.

I really wanted to love this rug because the color is beautiful and it looks great in the room, but unfortunately, it has been a terrible purchase. The rug sheds like crazy. There are fibers everywhere, no matter how much we vacuum or clean. Even worse, since we put the rug down, my kids have been constantly sneezing and complaining that their eyes are itchy. The amount of shedding is completely unacceptable. I would give this rug 0 stars if I could. It may look beautiful, but it is absolutely not worth the headache. Worst rug I’ve ever purchased. Please don’t waste your money or your time.

I have 2 Henley Ivory/Smoke runners in a high traffic hall area plus the 9x12 in a room not often used. I paired the rugs with 1/4 rubber-backed felt pads although relatively dense on their own. The Good: With pads, the rugs feel close to my much more expensive wool rugs. I have 2 older cats and occasionally have to clean up hairballs or vomit and as long as I get to messes fairly quickly, I have had no problem getting potential stains out with blotting, a little light rubbing, and some woolite. Like some reviews note, you may occasionally feel a prickly fiber, but nothing so serious (at least not in my experience) to interfere with usability. The Bad: The Ivory/Smoke is nearly impossible to match to other rugs if, like me, you need other rugs in the site line of your Henley(s). Be prepared for a serious design challenge. The issue is this - the rug has three types of fibers running through it: literally shiny ones that look closest to bright ivory (noticeable only in direct light), plus flat-duller fibers that look like typical ivory wool, plus (the real color-matching-culprit) lots of random fibers that must have been dull-ivory ones that were dyed with varying degrees of saturation with a greyish hue. This “smoke” color can look slightly cool grey or slightly warm grey (but not taupe) depending on lighting. And in a darker area of a home, the greyish hues definitely makes the rug look like it is dirty with dust (like someone randomly dropped coal dust from an outdoor grill all over it). I agree with other reviews that have said the rug may not hold up well long-term. The fibers are looped and definitely pull, especially if you have pets. I’ve turned trimming them into a meditative practice to keep me from being annoyed. And do NOT, for the love of god, use a vacuum with a beater brush. You need no brush and fairly low suction or your rug isn’t going to last long. Conclusion: Would I buy these rugs again, absolutely not. But have I learned to like them, yes, because the price was good for a denser, “neutral” rug without going full wool, and I have always enjoyed a good design challenge! I will not, however, be sad when it is time to replace them.

Updated 10/20– I just had to toss it. Thought it was my dog and his toy, no, snags so easy with anything and sheds horrible. Beautiful rug, just not worth the hassle or price. Snags way too easy. Week one and my dog’s toy snagged it, ok get it on me. Took it away and week two, our ottoman from moving back and forth with plastic bottom starting snags. Way too expensive to already look this bad. It is super soft and beautiful just not gonna last. Edited to say everything snags this rug. Just got corner of it wet and form is all messed up now. My prior $99 Costco rug if 6yrs out shines this rug that cost 3 times it. So disappointing

Let me be one of the unincentivized reviews and say this rug is gorgeous! I am picky, care about look and feel, and price point. This rug is luxurious on the feet and gorgeous to the eye. My only complaint, and reason for 4 stars, is that with 2 dogs, their nails easily snag the rug. I’ve had to cut way more pulls than I would like, but it still looks great! I also imagine it’s not easy to clean, but we’ll see when the time comes. If you’re on the fence, buy it! You won’t be disappointed.

I ordered the silver one and the smoke one in small size so I could decide which one to order in the biggest. I didn’t see any pics of the silver online. The one on the left is silver and is almost striped and has a distinct gray border (warm gray). The right one is smoke and has ivory and gray taupe throughout. I decided to order the smoke and ivory. Second picture is with my very warm gray paint color. Seem like quality rugs.
