What I really like about this rug is the neutral colors for the “Oatmeal and Smoke” colors in the rug that I picked. I really like that the pictures here on Amazon do not do the rug justice, in person the rug is way more detailed and so much more pretty, than in the retail/commercial pictures I’ve seen here from the vendor. I like that the rug is super soft, way more softer than I imagined it to be in person. I like all the materials that were used in this rug too, you can literally sit on this rug and just rub your fingers through it and know that it consists of good quality rug fibers and a sturdy foundation backing to it as well. I like that these Magnolia rugs come in many various different sizes, so please be sure to measure the area you want to put your rug in, and fit appropriately before making a final decision. I also like that the rug is really heavy in the size that I got, and I like knowing that the weight will overall and in general stay in the place that I leave it in. I also like how well the rug‘s packaged during transit, it arrived being completely secure and absolutely nothing wrong with it at all. And I really like the color theme that I picked, because as I said, this is a really great neutral that literally goes with anything. The only thing I didn’t like about this rug are the deep wrinkles that were already expected, that I had to get out. I’m just impatient, and didn’t want to wait a few days or weeks till they became flat. So I did put in a good amount of time using a steamer to lightly steam the rug and flatten it out as much as I could. Other than this, which is basically just maintenance, and was expected already, there is absolutely nothing else that I do not like about this rug, I really like every thing and detail about it! Overall, I am so happy that I found the perfect area rug for my living room. This beautiful rug completely revamped my entire living room, and this rug looks stunning in the “oatmeal and smoke” color that I picked. I will most definitely recommend this rug to all my family and friends, and to anyone that is looking for a beautiful and amazing quality area rug that comes in many different sizes as well, then I would also recommend this rug to you too.

Loloi never seems able to take accurate photos, so I recommend buying a sample first. The rug is not warm toned at all as it shows in the photo. It is much more cool and grey with some blue. I was hoping for more greenish/beige. It’s a higher pile than their other printed rugs, which I like. Very soft, but it is thin so I recommend a rug pad for underneath if you’re using it in a living room.

The media could not be loaded. I was very up in the air about this rug when it arrived. We ordered the 9 x 13 version and when a pretty small package arrived, I initially thought I had made a terrible mistake. I knew that this wasn't going to be a plush, inch-thick padded rug but I had not expected it to fit in such a small roll. After opening it (which was quite a chore) and spreading it out on the floor, I was pretty blown away by the look ... as the dude says, 'A rug really ties the room together, man' ... and this really did just that. We went with the 'Blue' color because all the others seemed a little too brown and warm for our house. It wasn't as blue as I thought and plays very well with all the colors we have in the room ... especially the driftwood grey wood and the yellow/orange pine floors. It makes the room look more modern and upscale. The pattern is kind of a jumble of lots of different things, which really don't make sense. It almost looks like you printed two or three different patterned rugs on top of each other. However, as bad as that sounds, it looks really high end ... what you'd expect to see at a high end hotel or boutique inn. We really do love the look. Having said that, this suffers from something I've noticed a lot of rugs feature lately and I am not a fan of ... it has a 'nap' to it where when you run a foot, or slide an object, across the carpet, it leaves a bit of a trail. As you can see in my video of this rug, it looks like a brown shadow until you rub your foot across it in the other direction and it looks normal again. I do find myself doing this to make it look uniformly light, without the brownish drag marks. In terms of it laying flat, it has quite a few creases in it from being folded so small. I recommend taking this out of the packaging immediately ... don't let it sit folded too long. We smoothed ours out and let it lay overnight. There are still some bumps and folds visible. We plan to lay some big, flat items on top of the folds to hopefully smooth them out. This is a very thin rug and a little on the stiff side. While the top part is soft when you walk on it, the rug itself is pretty stiff and only moderately flexible. The coolest part about this rug is that it really does seem to change appearance depending on the lighting. At night, it looks a little more dark and cozy and the brown and tan is brought out ... daylight lightens it up and brings out the grey and silver tones. The blue is not too bright and not too dark ... just enough of an accent color to pop a little, without looking like a blue rug. The only downside is that in the daylight, the rug does have a subtle sheen to it, whereas at night it looks warm and cozy. Overall, I am usually overly impressed with the style and design of anything Magnolia/Johanna Gaines puts out. This follows that ... it blends perfectly and looks more expensive than it is. Having said that, the value of this, for such a thin rug, is somewhat iffy for me. At a couple hundred bucks, the style and look are worth it. In the $350 - $500 range, you might find a thicker, better made rug at a design store for the same price. We are certain that we'll add a rug pad underneath in order to keep it from slipping and make walking on it a bit more cushioned. That will add $100+ to the cost of this. We do love the look though ... the Magnolia style is perfect. I hope my video, pictures and honest review, after actually using the product, were helpful to you.

I stayed in an Air BnB with this brand of rug and as soon as I ran my barefoot across it, had to have one of my own. It's like like velvet on your feet while somehow still being durable. I ordered the largest size available and it was exactly the same dimensions as advertised. It came folded up, as you can see in the photos but after a few days, the wrinkles did soften out. It took a full month to lay completely flat on the rug pad I purchased to go with it. It is very thin so if you want a cushion feel or thicker appearance, you'll definitely want a rug pad. It has held up well to my large dog and daily use. No stains for me yet but I imagine they'll be easy to clean just based on the feel of the fabric. I think this is a great value for the quality you receive.

This area rug is soft under foot and brought some needed style updates to our family room. The design was exactly what I expected from the photos. I ordered the 9 x 13 and it was shipped folded in thirds before being rolled up and on the outer wrapping it stated to open the rug as soon as possible to not allow creases to form. When it arrived I realized that I'd ordered slightly larger than our space would allow me to just open at the time and had to have some time to move furniture around. It was about 2 weeks after receiving that I was able to get it opened and it does need some time to relax, but it isn't horrible. Should be flat after a couple days I'd expect.
