Material Care Instructions: Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, dry sponge or cloth. Professional cleaning recommended. Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability. For vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.

The color was a little lighter than I anticipated based on the seller photos, but I LOVE everything about it. I wanted more of a taupe/straw color, but I do think it would go with gray as well. I ordered the 9.4 x 13. I think the larger size is much prettier than the smaller sizes because the pattern appears to kind of run together on the smaller sizes (from other buyer's review photos) making the colors look different. I'll have to say, shipping was a complete nightmare! After about a month of waiting and even being told it would be delivered on a certain day several times - because the larger rug had to be shipped by a larger-freight shipper rather than Amazon or UPS (and I took off work to be home for delivery), come to find out it was sitting in a warehouse 15 or 20 miles from me for possibly a couple of weeks and I finally had to go pick it up myself to avoid it being transferred to yet another shipper and causing more delays! After all the trouble with shipping, I was scared I was not going to even like the rug and have to deal with a return. BUT, not so....I am extremely pleased with the rug. It is very soft, the colors are beautiful and I love the slightly faded look! I can't wait until the new cream colored leather furniture is delivered. It will look beautiful on this rug. I noticed no smell when I unpackaged the rug and I laid it upside down to straighten the roll and the corners out which was really not much at all. I've ordered several rugs over the last 10 years and this is by far the best experience I've had. There were no glitches at al. I've been wanting a nice big area rug for our master bedroom for years and years. I couldn't seem to find one that checked all of the boxes for us. Xl in size ( we got the 7'10" x 10' ), reasonably priced,, colorful but still neutral tone, good pattern, Soft, durable and good quality. As soon as I found this one after looking at literallythousands of rugs, I knew it was going to be great. Once it came and we saw that we loved it, I decided on an identical one for our dining room which I'll be purchasing very soon. The rug is so soft and actually more plush then I would have assumed. It came in great packaging and it shipped to our doorstep very fast. My boyfriend even agrees that it opens up our space a lot! It makes our room feel so much more comfy and inviting. It is a propylene and will be very easy to clean when I need. The vacuum barely had anything in it first time. You will need the Mohawk rug pad under it to protect your wood floor, and I got it also. No latex on my wood floors.
