This rug has a beautiful printed pattern and very fine, tiny woven texture. It’s thin, and absolutely smooth to the touch. Kind of plastic feeling, so if you want to lay on it and it will bother you to not feel a natural material, then reconsider. It’s not scratchy, it’s more like a spongey yoga mat with a rayon feel. My husband’s first reaction was to ask me to send it back and buy a real rug! The reason I bought it was honestly that I saw it on a designer’s Instagram (in the navy color). I knew all of ^^ things and wanted a rug that could withstand pets and kids, and that if our young family destroyed, I wouldn’t lose sleep over. This was around $300 for a 9x12! I was drooling over a real Oushak rug on another site that had similar patterns and colors, and cost several thousand. So. I’ve had printed rugs from Safavieh etc before and have to say, the subtlety of these colors is a far cry from the colors and prints I’ve had before. It’s beautiful! Navy, denim, and slate blues, faded sienna and copper, sage green, dark taupe, antique rose. The ONLY thing I will criticize about this rug is the color description and photographs used to advertise it. I was expecting a warm ivory base. It is much darker than that. In photos, the pinks really jump out. In real life, the overall impression is a light/medium blue rug with some dark tan/light sage in the middle, and pink and navy accents. Lovely, if that’s what you’re after. You really can pull so many different colors out of it. I think it’s super versatile. HOWEVER If you need a light rug, then I’m not sure this will work for you.

These rugs are fantastic! I am remodeling entire main floor of my house and have purchased these rugs for the living area, kitchen, dining and bedroom. Great for layering with hides, etc. ...a couple of hints, though: use thin pads underneath and....buy from the Hathaway collection. I purchased from another of the company's collections and the overall quality is not as good.

I am in LOVE with this rug. It's beautiful, soft, has a little cushion even without a pad, seems like it'll be easy to clean. I bought this for our cabin but I'll be getting another one for our house. My only "complaint" is I didn't order a larger size because it is that pretty.

Great colors, would work with lots of palettes. I have a mostly white kitchen with a few navy accents (cutting board, butter keeper, etc.), and this runner looks nice. It reads neutral but not boring... I'd say it has a dark blackish-blue, smokey sky blue, terracotta, and rust on background of multiple cool and warm tones from ivory to charcoal. See pictures. There is no pile, it is more like a mat. Just received, so durability TBD. You will need a pad, rug tape, or a few corner duct tape loops (haha) underneath to keep it in place.

I was looking for a flat rug that my cats might not destroy. Something sort of classic and classy. I wanted neutral colors that would go with my beige walls, but not something boring or without color at all. This rug is it! It does have more of a greenish-gray wash than beige, but I don’t mind that. It’s also printed on a mat, not woven. It’s not rough, and also not super soft, but pleasant enough feeling in socks. I would get a rug pad to prevent sliding on wood floors especially if you don’t have much furniture to hold it down. And the pad light add additional softness. The price for the size and style of rug is fantastic. Does it look slightly cheap? Yes, particularly close up. I’d probably buy a more expensive rug for a main room (I’m using this in my office). My two cats have ruined rugs before, so I’m extra careful when choosing, and this seems like it will be durable and hopefully easy to clean. The design and colors should keep it from showing much dirt, I think. I’m pleased with my purchase, and it arrived amazingly quickly. Quite lightweight. Seems like a perfect choice for a budget conscious person who likes the pattern and colors and wants something that will stand up to pets or kids. Would likely be great in a dining space, or a smaller size in an entry or kitchen, also would be great in a bedroom under a bed. Lots of subtle colors — blue, blush, rust and pale green.

I purchased the Beige/Multi 4x6 size. My biggest complaint is It is so much better than expect I am not sure where to put it. It’s more cushiony than I thought and can be used without a rug pad - however I have 3 large dogs and wanted it for my entry way (still do!) but going to purchase a grippy rug pad before I do since it will go over wood floors. I currently have it in my office and it has a smooth top and doesn’t fray or catch with my office chair rolling over it just fine. I’m going to keep it here for now because I get to look at it all day now. I will order another one and pad for front door. The colors are muted and amazing and depending on your decor it will pull something different. When in entry way it pulled blues/beige/ gray more which is align with the area. My office has a green/gray/wood so the green and rust color come out. It’s great. go get it.

Loloi II Hathaway Collection HTH-04 Beige / Multi, Traditional Area Rug, 7'-6" x 9'-6" Honestly this rug is gorgeous and exceeded my expectations! I was worried from other reviewers that I should expect it to be darker in person than the picture showed. But this was not true, and my rug came exactly as the picture showed = the colors are a combination of a very light sage green, beautiful soft but deep blues, brown tones, and beige/whites. I love that this does not shed like all my other expensive wool rugs, and is really soft for my son and dog to play on. This looks like a really expensive rug, and I'm already looking at what other rugs I can add to my house! thank you!
