This rug really checks all the boxes for what I was looking for as I start changing the overall vibe of my living room from bold and darker to something a little more subtle...but definitely not boring. What I love most is the variation of colors throughout the rug. The tones are beautiful and complement the darker furniture and décor I currently have rather than competing with them. It gives me just the right amount of warmth and vintage character I was hoping to introduce into the room while still allowing me to keep some of my existing darker pieces. The distressed design also gives it that collected, lived-in appearance rather than looking overly new or stark. The fabric is soft and feels really nice under my bare feet. It has a low pile, so while it's soft, it doesn't have a thick or bulky feel. Although it's meant more as an accent rug, it still adds a comfortable layer over my dark hardwood floors and lays beautifully against them. The lighter khaki and multi-toned design creates a really nice contrast with the darker flooring. The low pile has also made this rug incredibly easy to maintain. My robot vacuum has no problem getting up onto it and moving across the surface without struggling with the edges or getting caught in longer fibers. I usually let the robot run over it a few times throughout the week to pick up everyday dirt, dust, and debris, and so far, that has done a great job of keeping the rug looking clean and new. The short fibers are also helpful when something gets spilled or tracked onto it. I've been able to use a damp cloth to pick up small spills and messes fairly easily. Since there isn't a deep pile for everything to immediately disappear into, I can get to the mess and blot or wipe it up without feeling like I'm just pushing it deeper into long fibers or spreading it around. I've also been happy with the non-slip backing. I haven't needed to add any additional adhesive or rug grips underneath mine. I do have some furniture positioned on the rug, which obviously helps keep it stationary, but overall, it has stayed in place very well in my space. One thing I personally do with machine-washable rugs is try to avoid putting them through the washing machine until they actually need it. I haven't washed this one yet, so I can't comment specifically on how this particular rug holds up afterward. From my experience with other washable rugs, repeated washing can eventually cause colors to fade somewhat or the shape to change so they don't always lay quite as flat and evenly as they originally did. Because of that, I prefer to maintain mine as long as possible by vacuuming, spot cleaning with a damp cloth when appropriate, or taking it outside and giving it a good shake before resorting to a full wash. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this rug. It gives my living room the softer, warmer look I wanted without making the space feel plain. The vintage-inspired colors are beautiful against my dark hardwood and darker décor, it's soft underfoot, and it lays nicely. It's a great way to start transitioning my room into a more subtle color palette without having to completely change everything I already own.

Loloi Chris Loves Julia Ramona Spice/Multi 5'-0" x 7'-6" Accent Rug ROA-04 Approx. 5 X 7 Red , Entryway, Kitchen, Distressed, Vintage-Inspired, Machine Washable, Accent Rug This rug is gorgeous. It honestly looks more like something from a vintage boutique than an online order. I have several washable rugs and one thing I’ve learned is that there can be a huge difference between a rug that has a vintage inspired pattern and one that actually gives a room the look of a vintage rug. This one does. The colors are what make it so good. The listing describes this as red, but that really doesn’t describe it well at all. There are beautiful spice and rust tones mixed with ivory, brown and muted blue, and the distressing works with the colors instead of just looking like faded areas printed into the design. It has that slightly moody, collected look that I love and the colors change depending on the lighting and what is around it. It looks much more expensive in the room than I expected a machine washable rug to look. So much so that I completely changed my mind about where I’m using it after I saw it opened up and laid out on my floor. The rug looks so amazing that I decided to use it upstairs in a living room currently being renovated. I took pictures in the spot I originally ordered it for. This rug was too beautiful to be hidden out of sight in a downstairs rec room/ den area. The rug itself is fairly thin, which isn’t unusual for a washable rug this size. There is some grip to the backing, but I’m going to add a rug pad underneath mine. I think the extra cushion and weight will make an already beautiful rug feel even better underfoot and elevate it even more. And I actually appreciate that Loloi recommends using a rug pad rather than trying to pretend a thin washable rug is something it isn’t. Mine is the 5’ x 7’6” size and I really like the proportions. It’s large enough to have an impact in a room without getting into the much bigger area rug sizes that can become difficult to wash at home. I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to how it holds up after washing. But it is 100% polyester and designed to be machine washed, which is a huge advantage for me because I don’t want something beautiful that I have to be afraid to live around. I knew I liked the pattern when I ordered it. I didn’t expect to like the actual rug so much that I decided to use it elsewhere and ordered another one for the space I originally got it for. The vintage look is incredibly well done, the colors are beautiful in person, and it gives me the look I wanted without giving up the practicality of being able to wash it. It also vacuums well and my robot vacuum had no issues with vacuuming over it either.

I’m not usually the biggest fan of machine-washable rugs because, in my experience, the designs tend to look overly printed and almost lined, so I’ve always preferred the look of a traditional rug. But with a messy 2-year-old who is very capable of spilling his juice all over the floor, I decided to give this one a try for the convenience of being able to throw it in the washer. I ordered the Ivory/Multi color, and I really like the way it looks in person. It has a warm ivory/beige base with soft taupe and brown tones, along with subtle muted blue and slightly warmer rust-colored accents. The colors are very faded and blended, so they give it that vintage, worn-in look without being overly colorful or busy. I’ve actually been really impressed with this one compared with the two machine-washable rugs I’ve had in the past. The design doesn’t have that obvious printed look that the others did, which is probably what I like most about it. It looks much more like a traditional rug while still giving me the convenience of being able to wash it when my toddler inevitably spills something on it. It’s also soft underfoot, but it is very thin. I would definitely recommend using a rug pad underneath, especially on a hard floor if you don’t want it sliding around. Overall, this is easily my favorite of the washable rugs I’ve tried so far. It gives me the more natural-looking rug design I prefer while still being much easier to deal with when life with a 2-year-old gets messy.

I ordered the 5' x 7'-6", Loloi, Chris Loves Julia, 'Ramona' collection rug in the 'Spice/Multi' color. This rug arrives rolled, wrapped, capped, and bagged. This is a traditional-styled oriental rug design in darker color tones of plum, sapphire, red grape, dark olive, and rust, with accents of ivory, printed in a distress style fashion on durable polyester. It looks basically the same in-person as it does pictured in the listing. This low-pile rug is thin at only about 4-5mm thick (less than 1/4"). This printed fabric rug has a classic velvet softness and smoothness to it that also very subtly reflects light with a tiny bit of sheen (in the right light at the right angle), that can only really be seen in person. This subtle fabric quality gives it an even more classic, antique look to me. The oriental design incorporates geometric floral medallions of many sizes, with other flowers, leaves, stems, and vines in a lovely symmetric fashion. The layered border system is very ornate with a wide floral and vining main border flanked with outer and inner leaf-crested guard borders. The edges of the sides and ends have a relatively flat wrap-stitch to prevent fraying. The underside texture sort of feels like it has an anti-slip backing, but it does not. For proper anti-slip properties, this rug will need to be paired with a rug pad. The underside of the rug pad should be natural rubber for hardwood floors, but it can be latex for tile or stone. Latex will degrade and adhere to natural wood over time. This rug can be machine washed safely in most machines in the 5' x 7'-6" size at 9 pounds, then hang and air dry. For best vacuuming results, I would vacuum in rows, like mowing a lawn, on a lower power setting, with a high beater bar. I really like the design and colors for a darker rug, and I think this one is a decent value.

This is a beautifully rustic, printed rug from "Chris loves Julia" by Loloi. I ordered the "Khaki / Multi" option in the 6' x 9' (Rectangular) size, and it arrived rolled - not folded - and in flawless condition. This is by far the highest quality printed rug that I have ever seen/owned - and I am a complete rug addict. Unlike most printed rugs, that have a very flat, almost felt-like surface, this 100% polyester rug is power-loomed. The rug "blank" is actually woven prior to printing, which gives it a lovely, dimensional texture usually lacking in budget-friendly rugs in this price range. It is quite extraordinary. Thin, but incredibly soft to the touch, this lovely "Ramona" rug is robot vacuum-friendly and machine washable. It has a lightly rubberized non-slip backing, and is lightweight enough that I am easily able to maneuver and arrange it by myself. The colors are true to the product photos, but richer and slightly deeper in tone, in person. This really is an incredibly pretty piece and would work well with a wide variety of decor styles: farmhouse, cottagecore, boho, global, or even traditional. I really like this versatile, neutral-toned rug, and I'm quite impressed with its quality. If pets, and/or children, prevent you from wanting to invest a fortune in a high-end rug, but you are looking for something far superior to the options normally available in the "affordable" category, I cannot recommend this piece highly enough. At $159.99, it is an outstanding value that looks far more expensive than its modest price tag indicates. It has definitely exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much, Loloi - exceptional product!

What a beautiful business name. Sets the theme and high standard for this lovely accent rug. It's at least 1/4 inch thick, pile not shag. It's nice and big five feet by seven feet to cover the floor nicely of most any room, yet be small enough and light enough for one person to remove easily for airing out and getting dust and dirt removed from it by shaking out. It is however too large for standard sized laundry machines. The khaki color hides any stains. If it does get stained, take it into your back yard or laundry room and hose it down or soak it in a wash basin. You may use soap and scrub as required or desired. Then, set it wide open on the edge of a fence or thick strong clothes line to air dry in the sun and wind. Only bring it back inside when thoroughly dry to avoid mold and mildew. This rug helps retain heat in winter, providing comfort and warmth by isolating bare feet from cold floors. It also provides acoustic isolation and reduces twangy echo in large empty hard hallways and rooms. As a dark colored rug it can be used near your entry way after your doormats to catch any dirt, mud, or rain that is still on guests or family. It is a very good quality rug and economical too. I happily recommend it for all the above reasons and purposes! I do like it! :) I heard Chris loves Julia. Awww! :)

This rug is beautiful in person and has a much more refined look than I expected from a machine-washable rug. The Ivory/Multi color has a warm ivory and beige base with soft taupe, muted blue, and subtle warmer accents throughout. Everything is blended and slightly distressed, which gives it a vintage, collected look rather than making the pattern appear overly bright or busy. The surface is very soft underfoot and has a smooth, almost velvety feel. It is definitely a thinner, low-pile rug, but that is part of what makes it practical and easy to maintain. I would recommend using a rug pad underneath if you prefer more cushioning, especially on hardwood floors. One of the things I like most is that the design does not have the obvious flat, printed appearance that some washable rugs have. It looks much more like a traditional area rug while still giving you the convenience of being able to machine wash it when needed. The 6 x 9 size works beautifully in a living room, dining room, or bedroom, and the muted colors make it very easy to coordinate with different furniture and decor. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality and appearance. It is soft, versatile, easy to care for, and gives the room a warm vintage character without looking dated. I would definitely recommend it.

This accent rug is subtle and beautiful. The bottom is non-slip, and the top is soft but not plush. Very thin rug but perfect for our main room needs. You can put a pad underneath it if you need a little more cushion, though. The colors and design are vintage-inspired, muted but lovely. My photos are in regular daylight from the window. I really like that you can just pop this rug in the washer when needed. I didn't see drying instructions however so I will have to figure that out unless I simply missed it when scouring the information section. My children happily dumped out their bag of toys and played on the rug so it's comfy from their perspective as well. It was easy to roll out and flatten, only a corner was scrunched from the packaging but that will flatten out with time. Fairly happy with this rug and I almost wish I'd gotten a larger size. I think the only downside is that this rug isn't waterproof/resistant, which is a preference of mine regarding rugs.
