I wanted to love this rug so so much! I love the design on it and I had heard so much about the brand but unfortunately the quality is terrible! I bought the rug September of 2023. From the minute we laid it out it’s been shedding! It sheds like dog and gets on everything! It’s all over everyone’s clothes and toys! It’s so embarrassing when we have guests it’s all over their socks and clothes! As a mom this has added more to my plate, I find myself vacuuming multiple times a day just for our living room to be presentable! I am always using the lint roller on everyone on our way out to events! And most frustrating part is the beautiful color has faded completely and the rug is now half the thickness! The rug looks nice and is a good design but the rug fibers came out after only one week of having it. The fibers were sticking up in multiple spots. Frustrating since rugs are so difficult to return. Don’t waste your time buying them returning because this will certainly come apart! Sadly have to live with this rug that looks torn up. ... show more

I love the way this rug looks and feels. However, it's mostly wool. I have young kids, and two dogs. Spills have happened on it. Throw up has happened on it. It's impossible to clean and stains very easily. I've tried every method I could find to clean wool rugs, and nothing has entirely removed any of the stains. My own fault for not reading the material at purchase and once it arrived, I gambled and kept it because I like the look. As with most wool rugs, it sheds quite a bit. Aside from staining, it's been down about 7 months and wears quite well. I'm just at the point where I can't rotate it any more times to hide stains under the furniture. For a $500 rug it's not worth paying a professional for cleaning. If you're kid and pet free, and do mind shedding - go for it, great rug. If not, go synthetic. ... show more

Beautiful rug, but it is not soft at all. This rug should be used in a room where you don’t plan to sit on the rug, etc. I have it in a nursery and it is much rougher than I would prefer for this space. Again, very beautiful, but I would recommend for a dining area or office.
