The media could not be loaded. Loving my new neutral wool rug by LOLOI & Chris Loves Julia (size 3’x5’)! My husband never comments on things I buy for our home, but he vocalized his approval about this diamond area rug! It’s extremely thick & cushion-y so I don’t need a rug pad 👍🏻 BUT it’s too thick that I can’t open/close my back door over it 👎🏻 I’ve had it for a year now & it still looks brand new! Shedding has not been an issue, nor has Vacuuming! The neutral pattern looks high end & goes well almost everywhere in our home! I should’ve listened to the other comments. This rug is beautiful and it’s aesthetically very pleasing. However, if you have small kids, it’s a no go. I find small pieces of the rug all over my children’s outfit every single day. I’m sure you could understand my frustration, my other issue with the rug is it’s not as white as it seems. It’s more of a beige color, which was very disappointing to me and it’s also very heavy and not machine washable. It’s overall for a house that adults who mostly order takeout live in. This rug is what I have been looking for, for years!!!! Good quality, heavy, and well made. ***2 Months later Wish I could say I was happy. I DO love the look but the upkeep has been miserable. I realize that all new rugs tend to fuzz up but eventually that stops. NOT THIS ONE. I vacuum every week even more sometimes and if I kept all the carpet fuzz I have cleaned off I could make another rug. When it’s vacuumed it’s still beautiful but that lasts for about an hour then the fuzz balls start back up. I spent a lot of $$ on this and wish I could say it was worth it but i never expected to have this much mess when buying a quality peace with a quality name. Maybe I just got a dud! My last picture is from my last vacuuming and I just vacuumed the carpet nothing else. Good luck! ... show more

Consistent with other reviews, this rug sheds tremendously when you vacuum it, but you don’t really notice impact to the rug itself. Additionally, I haven’t noticed any shedding outside of vacuuming— and I have tile floors. The overall design is good and the rug seems durable, lays flat, and the color is true to the pictures. It’s a functional rug but not very comfortable, so I wouldn’t recommend it for someone with kids who might spend a lot of time on the floor. ... show more

This wool rug is such a nice addition to my kitchen. I laid it on top of a "temporary" outdoor runner with a rubberized backing instead of using a standard carpet pad. This carpet is very comfortable to stand on while spending time on my feet preparing meals. The color will work well to hide drips, etc. It cleans up beautifully with a damp rag blotting (NOT rubbing) up the potential stain. Because wool is naturally stain resistant, I expect it to hold up well. I've vacuumed a couple of time (no beater bar) and very little wool fuzz was sucked up compared to my high-end Pottery Barn living room rug. I've been looking for a vintage runner for months and never quite found the right rug. I'm very happy with my choice. The value for this rug is outstanding! ... show more

I wanted to love this rug SO badly and hoping I just got a bad one. The rug had a terrible scent that just wouldn’t fade. It wasn’t the typical chemically smell of a new rug. It was more like a musty smell, so perhaps there was some moisture caught in there before it arrived. The scent was strong enough that I had to put it in another room to let it air out and that room did not smell good. I did not try airing it outside due to nearby construction and dust. I had been eyeing this rug for a while. The design is really nice. The light color was a little darker and more beige than I was hoping for (I thought it looked more like a dark ivory in others’ photos), but I still would’ve kept it if it wasn’t for the bad smell. The look and quality seemed nice. The price seems fair. There is a good chance I will try repurchasing it again in the future or at least will look for something very similar.
