Although I do love the design and look of the rug, this rug shed like crazy. Tiny fibers everywhere. It has a good amount of thickness to it but still rough when sitting on it. I wish it would stop shedding so much.

I had been eyeing this rug for almost a year but hesitated to purchase because of the reviews about shedding. I finally decided to give it a try, and when it arrived, the rug was truly beautiful and had a good thickness to it. I loved the way it looked in my space. But the shedding was out of control. No matter how often I vacuumed, the fibers coated everything including my floors, furniture, anything I was wearing and even my baby who spends a lot of time playing in the living room. Because of that, I ultimately returned it (the return process was very easy). While the rug is undeniably pretty, the shedding was too much for me to overlook, especially for the price. I am obsessed with this rug. Unlike the thin, flat, screen printed rugs that are becoming the new norm, this is a beautiful, high quality, soft, thick, textured, neutral rug. It checks all the boxes. I think it is a great value for the money. Color and dimensions are true to the photos & description. That being said, everything has its flaws. 1) The rug is wool, so as others have mentioned, it does shed. But it’s not that bad. Especially if you are vacuuming it regularly. I’ve had it for about 2 months now, and it does seem to be shedding less and less. In my opinion though, it’s worth the minor annoyance. 2) The rug arrived with what looks like a box-cutter slice through it. See photo. It was small, on the back, and did not break through the rugs weaving, so the rugs overall integrity is in tact. For me it really wasn’t worth an attempt to return it. But be warned - I saw this in a couple of other reviews as well, so seems like a recurring issue. I might have given it only 3 stars because of these flaws if it weren’t for that fact that otherwise it is a 5 star product. Split the difference with 4. I get so many compliments on it and am otherwise extremely happy with my purchase. ... show more

I searched months and months for a natural, light colored wool rug that would compliment my new chocolate brown velvet couch. I wanted something that was light enough to brighten the room, compliment my neutral home, but not show every day stains and messes since I obviously have a toddler and dog. I have many Loloi rugs but the quality, coloring and pattern of this one takes the cake as my favorite. I was incredibly hesitant on the color because the photos of the ivory/wheat look yellow or gold in tones, but it is a perfect blend of neutrals that would compliment any palate. Really like this rug-more greyish/taupe than goldish tones. Be sure to check the back of the rug upon arrival as one I bought had cuts through the backing as if made by a razor knife. Enough color variations throughout to hide debris left from kids playing.
