Absolutely in love with this rug! It’s so soft and with the pad underneath it’s really comfortable. The color is beautiful. It gives you the light beige look without worrying about dirt because there specs of darker beige in it too. The pictures make it look a little darker, almost grey but it’s beige for sure. Especially with natural light it’s so pretty. I love it!!!! It rolled out very evenly this picture was after an hour of opening and there’s only a little smell like a new carpet smell. Not bad at all. Overall, it’s worth the price. I watched it for a while until it was $200. Love love love!!! ... show more

Though this came with a pretty good size price tag, I was shocked at how great the quality is! My giant dog has run around in this rug every day (we are waiting on additional furniture so it’s very open) and it has not snagged, discolored or stained, or flattened too much. It’s very plush while not being fuzzy. It doesn’t shed and the material is really soft and comfortable. I can see why it’s so popular - it looks great and is well made. This is a nice, perfect thickness, perfect level of visual interest, perfectly classy or casual carpet. I love it. I can vacuum it with a real vacuum without issue (thinner rug gets sucked up). I have a dog and bought it anyway in an unprecedented act of bravery. The color (oatmeal) is mottled, so there's forgiveness in the texture AND color. So tired of the abstract color swirls everyone has.ies flat right out of the box. I did use a gripper, as much to protect my floor as anything else. I love it! ... show more

    • Good material but has some issues
For the most part, we like the rug due to its thickness and softness. The color and print is ok, it looked a lot better in the pictures. Also, there are some loose stitching around the edges I worry will get worse. The material feels great but not sure I would purchase again.

Very Disappointed — Matted Within Weeks I had read so many good things about this brand and these rugs, so I genuinely expected a quality product. Unfortunately, after owning one, it feels like another overhyped product that simply does not hold up to normal everyday use. We purchased this rug exactly 60 days ago, and it has only been down for approximately six weeks. It is in our main living room, so yes, it gets walked on — but we do not wear shoes in the house, and this is nothing beyond normal household foot traffic. Within about 30 days, the rug began to look noticeably matted and worn. The areas underneath the furniture that are not walked on still look soft and fluffy, while the exposed areas have completely lost their texture. The fibers clump and mat together, making the rug look old and heavily worn even though it is practically brand new. Perhaps this rug would be fine in an area where no one ever walks on it, but it does not hold up to normal use. Quite frankly, this rug wears like a $40 rug, not a $400 rug. At this price point, I expected significantly better quality and durability. I wanted to love it based on everything I had read about the brand, but the actual product has been extremely disappointing. Would not purchase again and would not recommend. ... show more

Edit: Adding a star back. The smell did eventually go away (about a week) and after 2 months this rug has held up very well with regular vacuuming and a few spot cleanings. I would purchase again, but probably leave it open outside for a day if I could. This rug is great quality and beautiful!! BUT I’ve had it out for 3 days and the smell is horrible. I’ve tried to keep my patio door open as much as I can but the smell has not gone down yet. We can’t even sit in the living room without feeling sick. I’ll give it a few more days but will end up returning if the smell doesn’t fade… ... show more
