Though it's listed as a leather sewing kit, I saw it had all of the same pieces as all the bookbinding kits being sold on Amazon, minus the bits I didn't need like scissors, a ruler, and a glue brush. So having the bits I did need, and being much cheaper, I bought it. The quality is surprisingly great, considering the price. I was easily able to bind my first sketch book and would suggest this kit to anyone who wants to try bookbinding without having to invest a lot of money.

The included white tooling board against a 12" by 12" piece of marble. Sorry, guys, that's pretty pathetic. The rest of the kit is great, but being able to tool leather is the point.

Awesome little set. I paid less than $20 for this set and I'm pretty happy with it. The rotary cutter itself will cost you at least about $10-15 alone so it's a lot of stuff for a good price. I think I actually got a few extra which is usually not the case...usually I get kits missing huh items, not this one. I bought this for journal making but you should be able to use a LOT of the items in here for sewing, leather or faux leather work, etc. The tools are all nice, not cheap, the spools of waxed cord, is a great deal also. My family has been in the book binding business for over 40+ years... I and they approve of the tools for this kit. I highly recommend
